The setup is usually the same. Mike wearing an awful looking jacket and introducing things, Dave pulling up in a (often ridiculous) vehicle, yelling at Mike from afar, then showtime! After the stunt goes wrong, Mike, Fuji and the camera man go running up, utterly oblivious to Dave's pain. And it's funny every single solitary time. Indeed, it's iconic if you're from this period of time. RIP Dave. Thanks for the memories.

Super Dave made a career as a one trick pony, yet I always find myself breaking over with laughter with each different one of these I see. Why? I asked myself. First, he always plays it straight. Second, his personna was always predictable; that magic combination of cluelessness and false humility. Third, Fuji and Mike are always consistent also. Fourth, the subtle under the breath humor at any turn. Sheer comedic genius! Massengale Man of the Year. North American whatever association. Saskatchewan Sealskin bindings. I'm sure I'm missing some "regular" gigs here.

I first learned of Dave from norms show which is completely different from this show, and now that I can look back - this hasn't aged at all. it's fucking hilarious his deadpan delivery, the work up to everything its all so pointless. and my favorite part: the dubbed it voice of him going "oh my lord!" before the truck backs into him lmao small wonder Norm loved him.

Why isn’t there a Super Dave Osbourne Day on the calendar? SD is a hero everyone can love and admire. He’s c;lean living so scandals in his past. As a bonus he has Canadian and US connections, meaning that we could have a national holiday for both countries on the same day. Write your Congressional Representative. Super Dave Day. We have holidays in Jan, Fed, March, Easter moves back and forth leaving April with nothing, May, June, July, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec all have repeating holidays leaving April, August.
