Not really. They're industrial. Your best bet is something like the Dupray Neat or the more powerful (and expensive) Dupray One Plus for domestic cleaning. They're not extractors but they can steam your carpets. Only other option is using a Vax Platinum or a Bissell carpet cleaner.

Do all companies use something like this? I got a Hoover cleaner that’s almost 200 bucks and it cleans like dirt and such but I have a few stains like hot coco and mustard and nothing I use gets it clean. I’d hate to pay someone 300 bucks to clean it and it not work.

To those who paid someone and they didn't deliver b4 u pay ask what pre treatments they use! That makes a difference also you should invest in a shampooer to do yourself but still pay a professional 3 to no less than twice a year to steam clean your carpet that way this doesn't happen and the members of your household will be sick alot less

everyone saying this is staged because it looks fresh... so? its probably fresh spilled soil on nice carpet that was in good condition before hand and looks like the client tried to clean it themselves and spread it trying to vacuum it then called a professional to clean it properly when they realized it wasn't going to vacuum out.. just because its fresh doesn't make it fake not all clients have super old nasty carpet for real tho.

no. 99.9% of carpet cleaning companies pre-vacuum before they even enter the house with the steam cleaner. (including the company I work for) the clod of soil flying away from the cleaner head at 0:45 shows that they obviously did not. furthermore: I've cleaned up potting soil off of a carpet exactly like this (but it was blue) when my cat dug in my plants, the vacuum will get most of it, but there will still be some mild discoloration of the fibers due to the damp soil binding to the fibers, this will require a carpet cleaner to get out. said "mild discoloration" is no where near the levels seen in this video. source: I work for servpro.
