I just watched the first 5 minutes of the video. I already really like the concept: 1. selling animals as living creatures, not as a gimmick 2. giving them space I'm from Germany and here it is forbidden by law to keep snakes (except for juveniles) in racks. The minimum amount of space for an adult sanke is his body lengs 1x0,5x0,5 (lxhxw) so a 4 foot snake needs a 4 by 2 by 2 enclosure. That reduces the number of animals you can keep, but you can enjoy them way more than stuffed into small boxes.

Hey men I live in Belgium. Here we're only allowed to keep 147 snake species. The biggest snake we can keep or BCI and BCC. So no burms or retics. What's the law in Germany? Btw I have a male aberrant cali king that's 4months young. He's a sweethart and also very curious.👍🐍

I've handled two baby retics at my local reptile shop, unaware of the negative reputation they sometimes carry. Also a 25 foot old lady at a zoo workshop - so tame that toddlers could stroke her head and nose! I thought they were all wonderful - very personable, curious and very easy to handle (babies not giant one! 😉) once you've earned their trust. They are super intelligent animals and in looks they are the definitive Jungle Book snake. They look 'velvety'. Definitely misunderstood and very, very special. Super Dwarfs are on my dream wish list - but how on earth do you choose between all those amazing morphs? 🤔 (think those super tigers might win though, wow). Thanks Dav and Garrett for showing us some of these gorgeous snakes 🤗🐍 More videos together please - how about a joint trip to some of those islands to see them in the wild? 👍 PS - you need one of those tiny homes on wheels, with a whole interior wall converted into tanks so you can take your animals travelling with you Dav! (well at least around the US!)

I have watched a lot of Garret’s videos. While I’m not really a selective breeding enthusiast, I think the care he gives his animals is as good as it can be given the size of his collection and the space he has. And, whether you’re into morphs or not, he has bred stunning animals. I like his shelf idea for the snakes. Thanks Dav for another highly enjoyable video.

I really enjoyed this guy! I just started my own hognose hobby breeder project and I am really striving to do a bit more for them. They have enrichment and can burrow along with larger tubs. I also really care about my snakes temperament and want them accustomed to handling before they’re sold. Now that said I understand that I can do this because I have a much smaller operation, not knocking the more experienced guys doing it differently than me.. it’s just how I am choosing to do things. But I appreciate his perspective and it was cool to hear what he had to say!

We have Curly tail lizards, basilisks, Cuban anoles, brown/green anoles, knight anoles, tokay geckos, butterfly lizards, chameleons, iguanas, tegus, amebas, and African agama agama. The ones where the males are colored like a rainbow. Females are much smaller and just brown. Also, glass lizards, mole skinks, house geckos, mile monitors, whip tails, and so many more!!! It’s actually pretty impressive. Not to mention all the different kind of snakes, turtles, alligators, salt crocs, bobcats, giant hogs, peacock bass, clown knife fish, Chinese bullseye snakeheads, Midas fish, jaguar fish, and house geckos. Also, a lot of different species of frogs, spiders, insects, birds, snakes, exotic fish, moths, and so many others!!!!! actually, have very cool poisonous and non caterpillars and the butterflies are amazing looking. . Have poisonous frogs, venomous snakes, panthers, deer, bears, and much more!!

My favorite is definitely that snow GC, that little dude is a stunner for sure! Retics retain their color better than boa and ball python in my opinion, I just can't have them in my house because of their size(well I used to have one I was too young to know at that point), I wish I could own SD retics someday. By the way I really want to buy one of his incubator.

Yes, they do hold their color much better into adulthood. Hopefully you can get one some day
