As a first pc for gaming sure. It's better than my first gaming pc in all likelihood. Think people can get into modding here and build their own later on. I started swapping fans and ram on my gaming prebuilt. For a self build aliexpress has cheap xeons also but you have to know what board to pair them with so I've never done that myself. This seems like a good 500 or less starter.

This is exactly the build I currently have! I opted for 32gb 2666mhz Dual channel ram and have a 1tb Samsung SSD, but other than that, it's the same. I am beyond happy with the build. I can play anything (even Indiana Jones) at 1080p high settings (just as your video suggests). I don't have a 1440p monitor, so I don't run it at higher resolutions, but knowing the head room is there is nice. This is not a plug, but I got mine from PC Server Parts, and it came with a 1 year parts replacement and free shipping for just $220.48. That was with RAM, CPU only. I bought my own storage and GPU. Great content, man!

I just built a $300 gaming pc. I used the lenovo m90q with 10th gen 10500 and a 3050 single slot (the strongest gpu that doesn't require supplemental power and is small enough. It works great. no bottleneck , nothing. Works great. Yeah the gpu is weak and not the best but it's the only thing that would work. I don't need another pc but I wanted to tinker.

the strongest one is the a2000 but they have 2 different versions that come with 6gb and 12gb vram. also pretty small and doesnt require any psu cables. just to be clear, even the 6gb still outperforms it. its just a but expensive so id settle for the 4060 LP card, doesnt require much just a 6 pin connector. it also outperforms the a2000 and is quieter cuz it has 3 fans

My friend got his first PC in 2011 by just buying a full PC, a GPU and a better power supply, and he used that thing for like 5 or 6 years. It was $630 in total, which isn't what $630 is worth today, but it was simple for him and he got tons of use out of it. I prefer to build my own, but it's not hard to get a full system and add just a couple of upgrades to it to make it a lot better without having to build your own from scratch or overpay for a pre-built PC.

Rtx 3060 is the best budget graphics card for next few years since price is already below 200 usd on used market. Nvidia updates new game ready drivers regulary and you need more than 8gb at 1080p for future games.

what fps could it run league at? and as someone who's trying to get their first pc doesn't know much but only has 450 ish to spend rn what is the upgradabillity of it in terms orf cpu, gpu, ssd, and power?

It would run league at like 250-300fps. You can upgrade the gpu a little bit if you get a better cpu, and there are a few CPUs you can upgrade to but not too much, no power supply upgrade, and you can upgrade to any Nvme SSD in size.

If you are in US then you can do alot better, keep 200$ for a used gpu like 3060-3070 and try to go with 12100f or 5500 build

It'd be hard. The PSU and motherboard aren't standard so they wouldn't fit properly, and there might be some proprietary stuff going on that would prevent it

So the only way to buy pc parts , is through Amazon but the shipping and import fee is too much. 💔 just to ship a pc case of $69 costs about $350. Those are RAM slots C & D. Not sure but you might have issues not populating slots A & B first.

for $400 id rather go with a weaker PC that has an upgrade path maybe a ryzen 5 3600 with a 2060 super type build

there is a upgrade path, This PC supports windows 11 without modifying the install, supports 2 NVME drives plus you can add more sata storage, 900watt psu for GPU upgrades, and you can get a 8c/16t that boost to 4.5GHz cpu for $100 bucks.

I’m conflicted I like the case aesthetic and it has a strong PSU, but being that it’s a dead platform kind of irks me. If these ever hit $50.00 bare bones I’d like to do a motherboard and PSU swap on one. The PSU would be a real challenge.

Noooooo. The 1% lows 😢. Not a bad way to go for an esports machine I suppose, but that stutter would drive me insane!!! I think you could do a better CPU and worse GPU and get better results. Not much worse but like a 2070 or 5700xt. And a 12100f or 5500. Cool Lenovo machine though.
