I applaud your energy! I’m grateful that you find time to make these videos for our enjoyment amidst taking care of your family! I learn something new every time I watch “Just The Bells 10” AND I’m … well … just a little over 60.

This is the way the Amish make them also. I had never heard of doing them this way until our daughter in law shared how her Amish neighbor made them. Delicious and crispy.

If I’m super lazy , (plus scared of real canning) I will keep my pickle jar with juice in my fridge and add sliced mini cucumbers for quick pickles . 😊

Mama Bell, those cucumbers that you loved, that were kinda sweet, are Armenian cucumbers! They're actually not even a cucumber at all. They're a melon. You can let them grow as big as your arm and they'll still be perfectly edible! They don't get bitter! I grew them this season and fell in love with them AND they made the crispiest pickles 😊

@Just_the_Bells_10 I will by this weekend. It makes great relish too! You and your family will love them! I took a big jar to work many times and people would hide them so they didn't have to share! There is no canning involved....you use pre-made whole dill pickles!❤️

Quick fridge pickles are awesome but I screw it up half the time. Plus I use not the best cucumbers to make them so don't have much shelf life. Plus I've always used dried dill seasoning instead of fresh sprigs. I'd like to try some long pickles that are shelf stable but I prefer quick so far.

I watch your pickle recipe you put your fingers in everything will you pickles and even making the pickles they have bacteria on them you made a pickle face I'm not trying to be mean or nothing I'm just trying to tell you don't put your fingers in everything you got nail polish on and you put your hand in the pickles and after
@Vickie-iz4yg5 күн бұрын
I'm watching a video where you're making the baskets I use commenting about your cookbook and have somebody said something about Betty crocker and you thought they was being mean no you're putting this content out there you know that they're just giving you your honest opinion you want them to lie to you I've been following your recipes and stuff like that but you actually there are no different than what somebody crocker or taste of home you might tweak a little different you might you know do a little bit to it but other than that it's common for years and years I think a cookbook should be something that's all yours something that nobody else has put together cuz you could have hundreds of cookbooks in the same recipe they're not being mean or hateful they're not tired because they're mean but when you do something on TV or KZbin you need to take good and bad comments too and make it better and start telling people they're tired and mean. I was watching you make I think it's Thanksgiving dinner everything had tons of cheese in it the macaroni and cheese had all this other stuff in it then you put it almost in everything I noticed that it was all watching it I thought way too much cheese everything that you was making had cheese cheese cheese even the mac and cheese you put all that extra stuff in it I don't think people could tell the difference and what they're eating with all that cheese added to it. And on your cucumbers you soak them in water cold water yeah I know that man my grandmother had that recipe so nothing's new and that's also in cookbooks soak your cucumbers in water cold water and I'm not being mean but people are buying your cookbook so congratulations always talk if you got criticism back on it take it and work with it make the next one better and thanks to people was honest enough to tell you
@jenniferhansen36225 күн бұрын
I'm not being mean here, but your comment would be easier to read if you would use proper punctuation. Otherwise it's just a long run- on sentence. I really wanted to read everything you had to say because it seemed interesting, but I was getting a headache trying to read it.
@HollyBlair-wf3px4 күн бұрын
@@jenniferhansen3622heard. I stopped reading when I couldn’t find where a sentence ended.
@jenniferhansen36224 күн бұрын
@HollyBlair-wf3px Thanks! Obviously people don't have to be perfect in the comments, but punctuation really helps.
