OMFG YESSSSSS!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE YOUR VIDEO!!!!! I've never done any wiring on a vehicle before, I had a ooga horn already installed and tried just using the wires from it, but it promptly blew my fuse. I actually thought the relay was supposed to plug into my fuse box, so I was super confused. Thank you so much for this. Please keep making videos like this for people! YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER!!!!

I believe they only come with a relay. Because if you do it the other way it could fry something else. As long as you do it right and and run the wires you should be fine. I cover the wires with electric tape and zip ties.

How is the longevity of the horns, are they going the distance for you?

That's a good question it depends how much you use it. Because of the air compressor. Mine it still works because I don't use it that often. Once the air compressor runs out is easy to replace just buy a new air compressor.

Wouldn't it be easier when buying the horn to buy the horn wiring kit. For the way you ran yours, the red wire the black wire and your wiring to the relay is unnecessary. The horn wiring kit comes with a pre-wired relay plug. Heavy duty horn button switch, all needed wire terminals, it also has mounting hardware, the pre-wired inline fuse holder zip ties and even an instruction manual. The horn comes with 2 horns a compressor mounting hardware and even the relay that does not come included with the wiring kit. Horn has the relay horn wiring kit has everything else including the new relay port. I'm installing on a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. Had 4 semis in 2 days cut me off with 4 kids in the car and one even changed lanes when I was directly next to him causing me to have no option but to go into the ditch a little and had to slow down way quicker then I should ever need. Got back on the road and that dummy had a shade pulled down over his door window. Tell me yall. How did the guy driving 80k lbs of steel check his mirrors so he could safely change lanes if the window is co?pletely covered by a sun shield??? Well he didn't. He just changed lanes and ran my ass into the ditch with 5 kids in my car. I reported him to the company on the truck and reported him to the company whos trailer he was hauling and even left a report with Texas DOT And included pics for all three parties of the trailer with the trailer number and his license plate as well as a pic of the drivers side of his truck showing zero visibility. Now I got a present for these asshole truckers!!! They're no longer the only thing out there with an air horn setup lmao.

Yeah there's other ways to install the horn but this technique worked for me better. Yeah I have had people cutting my way. This horns had made people scared when they cut me off. I been cut off in the corner of the street and i use my horns and the person that cut me off they thought they were going to get hit by a big rig. Haha is funny because all I see is their eyes wide open when they cut me off when making a turn in the corner of the street. And they don't know where the horn sounds are coming from. They don't expect my car having those loud horns.

How do you hook it up to where u honk your regular horn it would blow the air horn too??

No you need to buy a horn switch because if you put it on the horn of your car you will messing with the air bag and that could be dangerous or cause a short.

Yeah i don't see any problem connecting the wires into the battery as long as you know where to run the wires I will cover the wires with electrical tape just to be on the safe side that it won't rubbed on something metal or get pinched by something. I used on my car electrical tape and zip ties. Remember always disconnect the battery before working on something electrical so you won't damage anything.

@@averydempsey4468 yeah you could do that but you need to figure out where to put the trumpet and the small air compressor. So it won't get damaged or get in your way when it comes to putting stuff in the trunk. I installed my air compressor on my car in the front of the car where you remove the big plastic cover on top behind the radiator and the condenser. And the trumpets behind the front grill. So nothing is exposed. It doesn't show that I have air horns so I have to be creative on how to hide them. I'm going to make another video on how I did it to my car.

Does it’s have to be 14 gauge can 12 gauge work?

I don't think it will matter as long as the wire is not too thin. But I like to use a more thicker wire. In my other car I do have 12 gauge wire I haven't had any issues with it.

@@justyne3744 You just have to make sure the wire doesn't rub anywhere on the engine or any moving part. That's why on my car I used zip ties and electrical tape so it won't rub or pinch the wire. Or else it could cause a short.
