The stand looks good and it will probably work just fine for those mantises, but I wouldn’t trust it with an aquarium! You’re completely dependent on the strength of the screws. If you want to hold and aquarium you should make sure that all the shelves rest on top of 2 by 4’s, this will drastically increases the stands strength! Also adding a panel along the back will remove any rocking. Great video and keep up the good work

Yeah it’s more meant for nano aquariums or tanks up to 10 gallons, I wouldn’t trust it either with anything more, I honestly should’ve specified that in the video. Thank you for the feedback though, I appreciate it! 😊

And just a comment from someone who watches WAY to much youtube and creator content. Try and stay away from the "vlog style" angle just set the phone on a stand or makeshift stand your hand gestures are way more expressive and it comes across more direct and thought out. But AMAZING build i cant wait to see more!!!!🎉

Yeah I’ve been kinda just fiddling around with different filming styles so I really appreciate the feedback, it definitely helps to know what people want to watch rather than just guess. I used to do more videos like that and I think I’ll try some more out. Thank you for the tips!
