Works on 1.16 for anyone asking, I only seemed to be getting one wave, our server's difficult got reset to easy during the update to 1.16 so if you are seeing less mobs drop down check the difficulty or ask your server admin to. Changed it back to hard and it's working exactly as it did in 1.15.2 . Brilliant farm this, great for XP and the emeralds come in handy for my villager trading hall. Thanks.

Update: Yes its working in 1.17.1 but you need to have atleast a diamond sword with sharp5, sweep edge 3 and mending. If vexes are spawning then set your autoclicker to click at every 625 miliseconds.

If you are going to build this, a few notes. 1. PLEASE make sure you light up the areas around the water elevator. I got sniped by a skeleton several times during my first test. 2. The vex will get to you, so wear good armor. 3. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON HARD DIFFICULTY. I didn't realize I was on easy and I had to get bad omen again from the outpost because I lost the bad omen.

@@ninolussoso9294 it could be multiple different things, first check that the raid cant spawn anywhere except for the platform. secondly check that the villager is far enough away so that you are out of the raid range. third try increasing the timer for the trapdoor so that you wait a little longer before falling down. i know it's been 2 months but maybe it'll help someone else

Great farm that works great on our Bukkit SMP hardcore server. It is providing everyone with totems. Thanks!! Just make sure to follow the tutorial exactly. And make sure the head of the bed is facing south and the ice spawn blocks above are on the south-east compared to the head of the bed to be able to spawn the raid.

Fabulously Evil Yes, 1.14 makes it harder to do ridiculously large iron farms. However, it also makes it incredibly easy to get a starter level iron farm. Like I had one within about 6 hours of my 1.16 snapshots survival world, and I wasn’t rushing to make the farm, just making it when I started to need more iron.

This farm works in the new snapshot! I just build it in survival, and the only issue I have with the farm is that I stop getting new raids after around 5-10 mins of afk’ing. That still gives me like 4-7 stacks of emeralds each time. It’s also a great xp source. I would recommend building this

for those who are looking to build it on a vanilla 1.20.6 server (or realm), you have to adjust the spawning platform height to 241 by building the drop to y=233. Also for the trapdoor to open correctly you need to set the repeater next to it to 2 ticks (1 click on it) and dont forget the strength beacon or otherwise you will have a lot of vexes spawning :)

this is a great farm i built this in my world a few weeks ago and it works super well it gives me alot of witch drops , saddles , infinite totems , and infinite emeralds thx for the farm edit : i just built this on a server i play on and it works super well edit ( 1 year later ) : if you want a like a raid farm with even better rates and to not ever die just build one of the stacking raid farms i built cowkings one and it works perfect and gives 200k emeralds and 380k in total and like 100k witch drops so if you want a more complicated farm then try that

With how many Totems of Undying you get, it's bound to get patched or nerfed somehow in new updates. I mean Mojang did remove the recipe for god apples(enchanted golden apples) that made you basically invincible.

totems arent op since they are single use unstackable. thats why theyre not op. but the fact that you can get 3-4 per raid is the op thing. the issue is is, nerfing that would make normal raids not very worth it

If your having a problem like I did with not getting that perfect spot right so you don’t hit the trap door... Keep the trap door closed, fall down like you would normally and put a pressure plate where one of the stone fence is, if it’s at the same height as the trap door that allows you to fall, it will activate it shortly allowing the trap door to open if you get stuck and the system will still do it’s thing and it works flawlessly even on glitchy servers. I hope this helped you. 👍

i have the same question, there doesn't seem to be any downside but it probably has diminishing returns for what is 9x the effort in most cases.

That’s not how blue ice works. Blue ice has a higher maximum velocity on it, not increased acceleration.

I have a village AND a pillager hut next to my base. What I did was I put a villager and a bed under the hut, then stood on top of the bed as well. pillagers kept coming into my lava room and I created and infinite raid farm. This design works still, and is just as productive other than crossbows and exp.

I feel like it's broken in 1.16.1. When I get down I am constantly getting Raid-Victory and I lose Bad Omen. I am using slightly modified version of the farm that worked perfectly in 1.15.2.

Try getting sweeping edge 3 on your sword, i had the same problem and when i did that it worked, The ideal sword is looting 3 sharpness 5 sweeping edge 3 and mending. Hope this helped

Ok it works now just keep hitting and when you need to end it fly away or deload chunks (drink milk if u have bad omen) just dont let them have time to spawn

Same. For me it was the issue he discussed @15:10 and resolved by slowing my auto-clicker down to 1 / second (as he said to do)

BEFORE YOU BUILD; THERE IS A MISTAKE; SO YOU DIDN´T FALL DOWN IN THE SECOND REPLAY: HOW DO YOU FIX (SOLUTION) : 1. Behind the water elevator (on the bottom of the glass) you have to place water 2. Behind the Trapdoor (next to the water elevator) you have to place a pressure plate (before there were fences => you have to destroy it). 3. Destroy the Chest and replace it with a Slab above the 2 trap doors . Jump into the Water and its working! Sorry for Caps and my English ;) But it is very important!

@@zakshei Ok in my world ( 1.19 ) it didn’t work because every time when I swim up in the water elevator the pistion with the glass clinch in me and then when the trapdoor is open I didn‘t fall down because I’m on the block next to the fences so yes …

I've built this in 1.15.2 and it doesnt work properly... Raid mobs are spawning but there's no witches, no evokers. It spawns only a few vindicators, ravagers and pillagers. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it ? I built the exact same as it is on the world dl, I checked it 3 times and everything is the same.

Hey, i build the farm block by block exactly the same and the farm works. But: the rates are really bad and they don´t drop totems of undying Solution: Set your difficulty from easy to hard (Mine was already on hard, so i set it on easy and then hard again and that did it for me.) Only Problem now the trapdoor open and closes too fast after I changed the difficulty, dont know why. Edit numbero dos: Restarting Minecraft + Server fixed it for me. I wish everyone full chests

hi, i’m having some difficulty with this. after starting a raid, the boss bar fills as i ascend in the bubble column. but when i’m near the top, the boss bar disappears, and no pillagers spawn in the chamber. occasionally there are some but i’ve never been able to successfully complete multiple rounds in a row.

additional details • built above a warm ocean at least eight chunks away from any land • bed is on y=64, two planks that are directly above the water level. the bed is walled up to prevent villagers from walking off • i’ve tried adding a second villager with a much higher bed but the boss bar still disappears, and no pillagers spawn • trapdoors and gates are not in exact orientation (north, east, south, west) but they’re closed or opened just as in the instructions • levers were flicked on and off (except for the one to power the top trap door, that’s left permanently on) • do squids and fish affect the spawning of pillagers? i see a lot in the ocean of the area

Well unless there's some crazy bug the issue is probably that they find a different place to spawn and going up puts you out of range. Try and see if there's areas around or maybe underground they are at

sorry for replying late, if you still have this problem, then its most likely due to the hopper timer. make sure there are 77 blocks (stack + 13) blocks total in the hopper clock

i noticed that once the farm gets going evokers just sit around on the ice and start spawning vexes. they don't fall through the gap between the wall and the ice platform... since they don't carry a weapon, it doesn't seem like they'd go after iron golems to make them fall? anyone know a workaround?

before i updated to 1.16 i had to sit and watch the farm go since vexes spawn and random intervals either by evokers sitting on ice though not really a problem for me. but mostly its when they reach the killing platform. after 1.16 when i started the raid farm and I didn't hear a single evoker summon a vex at all even in hard mode. After risking my exp by AFK'ing everything was fine. Even on a test world evokers only summon when they see a villager or a player

@@futuristicdew11 Sorry for "necrocommenting" but I have a question. For me, the evokers spawn vexes even though I am far away from the platform at the top and I'm the only one on my server. Do you think it could have to do with not killing them fast enough as I am only using an unenchanted iron sword? I appreciate any help you may have to offer. Thanks!

I built this farm on my server but it doesn’t seem to work! When i am traveling up the raid bar fills up but no raiders spawn and when i travel back down the Raid bar is gone. I tried everything, i rebuilt the Farm one block higher to be the same level as the one in the download world, i spawnproofed caves and i don’t know what to do. Help is appreciated! Edit: Just give the villager a job lol

checked if there's any close spawning area or maybe check if the direction of the bed is facing south, also the bed should be directly under one of the ice blokes.
