It would have worked better if you custom-made a web shooter where you have one tube small enough to fit inside another tube. The inner tube would fire the superglue and the outer tube would house the borax/water solution. When fired, the Superglue would pass through the borax/water solution and be coated in it, giving you more fine-tuned control over exactly how much "webbing" is fired, compared to borax-water solution.

If you end up making your own nozzles, I’d see if you can design them to reduce turbulence and try to achieve laminar flow. That would likely help improve the mixing process and make each shot more consistent.

It would be neat to test two nozzles inside so outer "ring shaped" one with borax solution. And inner one with superglue. Both with laminar flow.

I'd love to see future iterations of his. it might not make it to mk.42 of ironman suite but still, real life acidic spider-web shooter is so awesome to think about

Would love to see that. Suggestion, make the water borax solution mist vs stream. Thinking that will allow 1. better solution mixing between the water borax and the super glue 2. provide less resistance for the "web" to escape from after the mix.

Superglue has a solvent that keeps it liquid. That solvent works on foam too.

how about adding some kind of fiber into the mix so you could get some tensile strength. spray tips that oscillated and/or spun could function like a real spider's spinneret. I could imagine it with the water jet in the center and shooting straight to make the whole thing aimable. Around that jet a spinning ring with multiple smaller jets shooting the glue-fiber mixture.

i am so excited and amaze!!! but i cant help but think of how well its gonna come off from surfaces. As spider man's web actually dissolve in like 2 mins right so that's why its never a problem for them to web around the city. Even though this is just to play around and not to be used to swing around cities. i can't help but wonder if there is a way to easily clean it after, instead of scrapping the super glue of the walls. i really want to see this realize and made really well!! Oh and another thing, maybe you can make the stream longer? i guess. as right now it is just burst of web, so maybe when you hold the trigger it comes out in a longer stream. or as long as you hold it, the stream will just keep coming out. something like that.

Super glue as a liquid stream. Borax solution as a pressurised spray. When the liquid stream passes through the atomised Borax solution, it will form a much sturdier, consistent stream with greater range.
