Kookie was so darn sweet rolling down the car window to give one last wave, and of course Hobie waved, too ! I am pretty sure they were concerned why so many people are crowding when we r in a pandemic & risking their & other's lives. They even cancelled tours, which is the one thing they want the most at the moment. But they care about the health of their fans, unlike the fans who r there breaching the rules. They r going to speak at the UN, which is also going to hve the topic abt the pandemic, & their influence on youth. Fans not understanding to follow simple rules during a pandemic is very concerning. BTS cancelled their tour to prevent the crowding of people. It was not allowed for the fans to be there but still some ppl went. I only hope all the armys at the airport were wearing masks for our boys and for themselves. Here in Korea we should wear masks everywhere even after vaccinated, so the boys could worry if they see people not wearing masks around them.

Some say there were people there without a mask. They were probably vaccinated and now have a false sense of security (or even worse, not vaccinated at all). The fact is you could be vaccinated, social distance, wash hands incessantly, use hand sanitizer and wear a mask but there is still a possibility to get infected and spread it. Nothing is 100%. Those things can help certainly but there is still a chance to get it. If you’re crowded around that many people you should at least have a mask if you’re not going to social distance. It’s just stupid and irresponsible not to, it’s not like we have mask shortage now. They shouldn’t have gone in the first place frankly, but you know how it is. Some people just don’t care I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just hope the boys don’t get it. Unfortunately covid is still around in NY (I live about 5 hours from NYC but I wasn’t gonna risk going there).

The way I see it is if no one was at the airport the boys would have felt unimportant or forgotten and that’s not the case at all. Aside from the fact that we are in the middle of the pandemic, Hybe has literally put out a set of rule for Army etiquette and it literally says do not show up to airports. They have literally said multiple times that they feel uncomfortable being mobbed at the airport and would rather ARMY stay away. Plus isn’t it creepy that these people literally BOUGHT plane tickets just to see them. Lastly, they aren’t even in the US for idol reasons. THEY ARE HERE AS AMBASSADORS FOR SK. It’s one thing to have the press there, then Army could get their pictures online without going there in a pandemic. If I were BTS I would have hoped people stayed home and then it wouldn’t have mattered whether they came out the normal exit or VIP. It’s a catch 22, in one way it must have been nice to hear that after a year and half, but at the same time people are taking risks and I’m certain BTS don’t want Army getting sick, in turn they won’t want to get sick either. Unfortunately even if you are vaccinated, social distance, wash/sanitize hands incessantly and wear a mask, you’ve still got a chance to get covid. Those things will certainly help your chances of not getting it, but it’s not 100%. Then I’m hearing some of them weren’t wearing a mask and of course they didn’t distance. Just not the smartest thing.
