Yes. Sidr I will say does promote thicker and stronger hair. I also cleanses well without stripping and drying hair out. I also heard it won't strip color. I use henna, so I think it helps to keep my henna pigment from fading as quickly. Honestly, I was surprised how the claims I've heard regading Sidr turned out to be true.

I watched a video by a dermatologist last year who mentioned that a certain prescription medication could increase the width of a persons hair strands. When I heard that I thought "Surely there is a natural ingredient that does the same thing or better?" I knew amla helps in hair growth. But thought it helped with length not thickness. I hadn't heard of sidr though. So this was very helpful.

Since you are an expert at finding high quality herbs, have you thought of putting all of the herbs into one product and then users would just need to add water, aloe juice, etc.? PLEASE consider. Karen U.S.A. Baltimore

Heyy Farida, you have been in this hair game for awhile!!! Have you seen the rage about Castor oil going around..? I remember you were the first one I heard talk about Castor Oil in the amber glass bottle being a game changer in hair growth.. I tried to order it but it was sold out, that was a few years ago.. You have remained in the forefront with your info and demonstrations about what's needed for healthy hair and length retention!!!!! I love that you do the diy"s so no extra harmful ingredients!! I will try this cleanser as well!!!!!🧡

Aloha! 🌺 Very straight, but very thick, low porosity hair here- I have used all of these and they are wonderful! Trick with the Aritha that I like is to put the powder into a bottle, add water and shake the bottle to create the suds 😆 but I typically mix Aritha with the other ingredients as it can be very drying… but sometimes my hair can be really oily especially my scalp and Aritha shaken up can really help lift that off the hair/scalp

I watch your channel and try your recipes, but I don’t usually comment. I had to on this DIY recipe. This is one of the best cleansers I have used on my hair. My hair was cleansed, moisturized, and has great curl definition. The detangling process was very easy. My strands were smooth and easy to comb through. This will be my new go to. The only thing I added extra was neem powder. Thank you 🙏🏾

I have been experimenting with cleansing ayurvedic powders like shikakai, aritha, and neem. I will sometimes add amla or zizyphus/sidr. I like the cleansing benefits of the mix but I do find that it can be too strengthening so I don't manipulate my hair until after I applied a conditioning mask or treatment. I also have to be very careful because I find that the mix can get into my eyes. I love zizphus/sidr as a conditioning mask on its own. It is not strengthening at all on my hair. It actually imparts moisture. I prefer to use it as a conditioning mask because it doesn't seem to cleanse as well as the other powders on my hair.

SIDR is the absolute best cleanser I've ever used. It has difficult for me to get top grade sidr. But I am still looking. I tried Aritha (correct sp) It was very cleansing. However couple months ago I got a nut fragment in my eye when rinsing out. I thought I was going to have to seek emergency treatment. Lots of eye drops and rinsing. by morning it was gone. So for now I have settled on Shikakai. But Sidr remains supreme!!!

I now use a mix of clay: green, red, kaolin, yellow, zeolit and rhassoul. Whatever clay I have or mix. I mix with water and essential oil. And do a apple vinager water rinse, that I rinse with water afterwards. And that really wash my scalp enough. Sidr unfortunatly make my scalp ichy. Shikakaï, I never tried. Rhassoul alone is not sufficient for the build up. And all the other ones you talk about, I never tried :)
