Two teens decide to vandalize the school's printshop just for kicks. The sister of one of them rats them out. Too bad she didn't call The Flash, who could have stopped the whole mess before it got too far. Now her brother and his buddy have a record, and their families are on the hook for all the damages.

The problem with the "monster" of Dr. Droid is he's eight feet tall and made of steel. If he had been made four feet tall and they put a hockey mask on him, nobody would be running in terror. Heck, dress the eight foot one in a Baloo costume stolen from Disney World and people would pay to get their photos taken with him. Can we agree that the elevator was out of order due to brake and cable issues? And that the power was locked into the "on" position? Oh, and if I was the father of one of those guys, I'd tell them they'll be asking "Would you like fries with that?" for a long time to cover the damages. Though I also have a bone to pick with the creatives. They don't look like teenagers. It's common in movies and TV to have adults playing them, but in animation? I keep remembering when I toured the USS Constitution. That's prestige duty there, but the crew... the males looked like they don't need to shave regularly, and the females looked like they were barely out of a training bra. Yet they were full fledged members of the United States Navy. I guess the Oceanics forgot about their muscle control rays in the last act. Plus, there is nothing wrong with an arena. Just play hockey or have concerts instead of bloodsports. I had the code word wrong as well. I thought it was Curry Stir. So, they wanted to showcase the Atom. Did they show him shrink? No. Did they show him use his size to avoid the energy thing? No. In fact, it seems his power got in the way or he forgot that he could change size. Why did the writers do this? Easy. They had to make pulling a switch a challenge for the Superfriends. Maybe they were hoping that would make people stop wondering why researchers were doing an energy project on a bullet train.

The last part of Aquaman's name is the first decoder clue? Since his name is Arthur Curry, I'm guessing "Curry". The second clue is "stir", so the secret word is "Curry stir"? Hmm... Curiouser and curiouser.

Given that in 60's, 70's, and 80's animation, there have been mistakes like characters talking without moving their mouths, characters not supposed to be in scenes, people taking with different voices, etc. Companies like Filmation and H-B would do this.

I liked the Ray Palmer Atom. As for the peeing, that's why superheroes have trunks, or in Ray's case, wrestling unitards. They move them aside for all the mundane daily stuff. My big favorite Atom was Al Pratt, from World War 2, he was a strong little unpowered boxer who was part of the All Star Squadron at the same time as this cartoon. He punched the angry Mustache Guy's troops really well. But the Ray Atom was still top tier.

Frankenstein's Creature has always been one of my favorite characters. I never figured out why Victor was shocked by the face he literally built. Later - this season or the next - Robin will have a shining moment with another "Frankenstein." Also, Giant Octopus are about 5 feet across. This is a Colossal, or an even larger, unknown species. One of my favorite original characters was Blackwater, a hero who tapped the Octopus totem. Also, my name Douglas is Black or Dark Water in old Scottish. Association with the mercenary firm soured my use of that as a screen name. Odd creatures and unpretty heroes are my specialty. 😅 Lazy stock footage doubles Aquaman again! Also, if that is Atlantis's sister city, how does Tyrannuix and his people not know Arthur? Props to Aquaman bending steel with his bare hands. The Man Wisk clue is the one decoder I remember after 40 years.

I've seen giant pacific octopus much bigger than that. The biggest I've seen measured about 15 feet tip to tip. Big enough to attack a diving bell? If it had a reason to, sure. But it would be more likely to mistake the diving bell for a rock and sit on it, blending in with its colors to hide from the world.
