Lol. I've worked for Incredible Technologies for almost five years now. We don't talk about Street Fighter or Time Killers nearly enough in-house, though to be fair, there's only like three employees still here who were involved with those games' development (the company is celebrating its 40th birthday next year).

on the movie... yeah I was critical of it back in the day, but these days I appreciate it as a 'so bad it's good' camp film. (highly recommend looking up the behind the scenes stuff it was quite the trainwreck! and there may have been drugs involved :P) as for the games, I thought the console version was alright, but the arcade game was a whole other beast entirely! In recent years I learned there's quite the underground fanbase of this one, there's apparently a lot of crazy tech in this game! I may have to sit down and fire this up in MAME again to mess around with it.

Yeah, I'm aware of all the wild shit that was happening on that film set lol, JCVD was a nut, but I enjoy that movie unironically, it's an entertaining action comedy with some hammy performances. The game is like Street Fighter did a line of coke, which is fitting considering the source material.

There's a cabinet at Tait HEY in Akihabara, I love to play 1v1 on it whenever I can, it's such a different experience from any other SF game

Both Street Fighter and the first Mortal Kombat movie, make my all-time favorite movies list. Just in different ways.

I like both movies as well, but yeah definitely not for the same reasons, both are entertaining though which is all I ask for these days

@@MadPanicGaming The 1995 MK movie succeeded in being a great adaptation and a very well-made, fantasy, martial arts action flick in it's own right. The Street Fighter movie is none of those things, instead it's basically the live-action, 80's G.I.Joe movie we always wanted. Like the live-action 1990 Ninja Turtles flick, it's just a Fun, silly movie that hits all those "comic-book" style notes nicely. Plus JCVD gets to finally play the "martial arts superhero" for real, that he always tried to be during his career. Which was awesome. And Raul Julia, was basically a live-action Cobra Commander and he nailed his part too. Both MK and SF were just really fun and Memorable.

I played this on MAME, mostly due to curiosity. Didn't get far, but was mainly to just see WTF it was. However, you do bring up a good point, Snipe's Blade character in a Street Fighter game, wouldn't mind checking that out. 😉😂🤣 But seriously, I could see the appeal, much like the movie, it has a nice cheesy factor to it. Only problem is, you're not having to work controls through a movie. Anyways, enjoyed this. Thank you.

They say you need to defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance but that's incorrect. You have to defeat Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game in order to stand a chance.

Street Fighter the movie, as well that Super Mario Bros. movie back then... they both had questionable decisions in regards to their source material (but fascinating and super interesting production stories!) BUT, both of these movies are extremely entertaining on their own. I said it back then, and I'll keep saying it lol

Out of all of the digitized "realistic" graphic games, this is probably the worst. The characters animations are atrocious. 😂
