the devil's song uses the money of all members At that time SM did not allow Superjunior to comeback but SuperJunior was against it because it was SuperJunior's 10th anniversary and many members were enlisting in the military. When the MV came out SM shut down because it didn't have the SM logo After being repaired again, it appears again on the SM KZbin account That's superjunior being able to take risks for a comeback at that time they also don't care when they have spent billions on that MV And reportedly the one who spends the most money is Leeteuk

@@EliMarieReacts The Suju label exists because of Leeteuk's hard work every day asking the agency yes so that they can be more flexible and can do what they want. The label Suju is not a gift from SM but the result of their superjunior's hard work. Leeteuk also submitted a request so that artists or idols and even SM fans could own shares and that also happened,that's why ElF can buy shares in SM

If Label SJ didn't exist, we wouldn't be getting these amazing albums and songs that Super Junior has been impressing us with for quite sometime now~ Super Junior deserve their own independent label, because these guys are in their 30s, some going on 40 now. They're grown men, let them do what they want for their fans. SM not letting them do anything for their 10th anniversary was a mistake, but I'm glad SJ said "F*** that" and moved on without them, because they care about their fans :)

A little trivia: The choreographer for “Devil” , “Mamacita “ and “Super Clap” performance MV is an American from Colorado name Tony Testa. He was co- choreographer for Disney’s Descendants 2, Brittany Spears , Janet Jackson, JLo and Kylie Minogue just to name a few.. I know he worked for some other celebrities , too

For the Magic mv, they really had the girl choose someone at the end and they didn't know who she was going to pick, so when she chose Kangin, those were their actual reactions.

Man this song is criminally underrated~ I mean this was their 10th anniversary album and Devil was the single for that anniversary, and yet it was horribly promoted :( But I'm glad that Super Junior put their hard work in this song, because they literally used their own money for this (music and MV), and created something amazing.

Another fun reaction from you! Thank you! I think other fans will be able to tell you of all the drama behind the release of Devil with more detail. It's pretty much the reason we have Label SJ now. Devil is such a fun song and I'm really happy they sing and dance it so often, but I love Magic too, such a chill vibey song, very bright, I'd love for them to perform it at some point. This is Kangin's last release with Suju and damn do I miss him

Concerning "Devil": You should watch the teaser for the "Devil" album, it's the funniest thing ever. Heechul's lyrics in his little rap solo are extremely smutty. Also that scene where Yesung and Leeteuk are bent over the hood of the car and the female devil in uniform brandishes that nightstick ... I'm sure they just show it for a fraction of a second because it's so suggestive. Note also how prevalent the theme of the heist is in K-Pop (SuJu alone has two MVs, "Devil" and "Black Suit"), Korean movies and TV. In the three piece pinstripe suit Leeteuk looks a bit like a dandy who ran away with the cash register because he spent all of his money on wine, women and song. Also amusing how our "angel" almost crawls on his knees after the female devil. Incidentally, this was the most expensive MV at the time. Never understood why most people prefer the performance version. It's great too, I simply like both. In contrast to most it's not a full take on one of the sets of the MV, but the full choreography set against a white "limbo" (that's actually the technical term - particularly fitting in this case, because originally its an in between space like purgatory in the afterlife), with different but also very chic suits. Sorry, but I think Leeteuk looks adorable in the turquoise suit with the short pants (except for the sneakers maybe) and the suspenders, which he has fun playing with. I also love the M COUNTDOWN TV performance where he wears that, I think it has one of the best sets, suits and overall color schemes ever. Siwon looks suprisingly manly even in pink, and in a full cam you can see him teasing Leeteuk (he did that in several performances, but they make it look improvised every time). Regarding "Magic": I hope you come across a segment from one of SuJu's reality shows sometime that has them fight over a girl in a train (the idea was inspired by the movie Before Sunrise). Yesung and Leeteuk end up as the finalists alone with her in a cabin, with the other members, including Heechul, watching and giving them instructions meant to sabotage them. At one point the girl says you sound like Heechul!

When Magic comes out, one music program on TV often played it. I really hook on that song, the cheery music, the Playful vibes on the rap part... Love that I love both the devil mv and perfomance video Though I still couldn't fid Siwon lol (Cause you talking about Leeteuk's fashion on the mv, leeteuk's fashion on the performance video looks like he would go mcing award show after filming, or on my sister's opinion, he looks like a new Employee)
