I absoutly LOVE the sound of them 2 cylinder xsr and mt 700cc bikes dude. Nice choice bro. Looks like you cleaned the hell out of it too. Looks brand freaking new. Well I'm looking forward to watching you grow as a rider and fall more in love with it the more you ride and learn. You couldn't have a much better bike to do it with. I road my lil r3 for a little over a year, and STILL freaking LOVE it, before I bought a new mt09. Almost went with the 07, but the ONLY thing that stopped me is me being 6'5" tall. I felt a little more comfortable on the 09. Have a little more leg room on the 900. But the xsr 700 and 900 was sitting right next to them at the dealer and I kept sitting on them both and ALMOST went with the xsr instead of the mt. Anyway, you're in for a treat fella, the more you ride and grow. That's a GREAT bike. Well ride safe my dude. And welcome to the world of two wheels. You're gonna fall more and more in love lol. This is JUST the beginning. ✌

sounds awesome, just put a yoshimura r77 full system exhaust on my 2019 xsr700 and it sounds like gods fucking through a pipe, amazing...pretty similar to your sound actually

He don't need full leathers to do a little pleasure street riding dude. Looks pretty geared up to me. Helment, jacket, gloves, jeans and boots. What more would you say he needs? Define "PROPER GEAR".

I don't disagree however people ride with less gear. Just cruising around my neighborhood. Leather jacket, gloves, helmet, and boots will suffice for now until I get a full suit. I'm riding within my own limits but I appreciate the concern though!
