Christopher Reeve made a profound impact in his short life. He continues to prove that hearts and minds are changed through inspiration (not brute perspiration). He proved that character is what makes heroes super-not their unworldly powers.

Christopher and Dana Reeve and their advocacy and research is the reason my uncle is still here today. That stem cell research Christopher was so about is exactly what my uncle had for over 2 years. And while he will never be able to walk again, the trials and effects of the stem cell treatment he was given gave him movement and feeling back to many of his nerves. He has an easier time moving his arms and upper body, despite not having any function in his legs. I can never truly thank the work the foundation has done for the spinal injury community, for the entire community as a whole really. Truly has given a new life to so many people and hope to even more.

As a little kid my first Superman was Dean Cain (although it was just with 4 season but still it has a special place in my heart). Then Tom Welling took the cape for 10 long seasons (I was a teenager nerd at that time). Then I found C. Reeves (in my college life I found a comic book nerd old grandpa about 52yo who runs his canteen and he was telling me to checkout C. Reeves's version of Superman cause he grew up with C. Reeves's version of Superman and I was telling him about Dean's version of Superman & how much I loved. He almost cried after the end of our conversation for Mr. Reeves 🖤 dude is a huge fan I got that. He also said how much he loved and enjoyed Henry's version of Superman as well...Idk if he's still alive or not. I never met him after my clg graduation). Anyways so I watched Reeves's version of Superman & yes I gotta say there's something about Reeves that makes him so different, unique idk how to explain that. Only if the special effects, cgi was advanced... then Reeves would be the greatest Superman I think? Dean was my first Superman but as an adult Henry was my perfect Superman and that'll never change. And as for Reeves? I have a different place for him in my heart cause he even died as Superman! R.i.p the legendary Reeves 🔥👌 And yes I watched Brandon's version and every other previous versions (b&w era) Superman too+the one from Arrowverse as well (Tyler's version)

I don't care what people think or say Christopher Reeve was and will always be Superman he channels the characteristics of character and he's the one who made everyone believe a man can fly he brought strength and he fought for a long time during his injury. He and Robin Williams were great with each other Reeves comedy was on point and he's the one who made superhero movies for what they are today

What hits me hardest about this film? Christopher Reeve was a person who committed courageous acts, without considering the consequences. He was also an ordinary individual, who found the strength to persevere and endure, in spite of overwhelming obstacles. And they end with his quote about two COMPLETELY different perspectives of what a hero is. He was both of his own definitions of a hero. He IS Superman. Now and Forever.

I think I speak for a lot of Rejects when I say working documentaries into the lineup of reactions is definitely a YES! Also, as a child, Reeve was the only Superman for my entire family and we all loved him and his movies. My mother cried when she found out he passed away. Thank you for watching this and sharing your reactions. Lastly, I think Henry Cavil’s Superman is very close Reeve’s in that both the actor and character Cary themselves with such grace and professionalism. Not to mention the amount of reverence that Cavil has for source material in whatever role he’s playing, which is such a reassuring thing in today’s world.

Thanks for this reaction. Don't know if I could handle this movie but I love documentaries. One of my favs in relatively recent years was an award-nominated (or winning?) doc called " Searching for Sugarman ". It has incredible music from a legendary rock star (or wannabe) who according to lore took his own life on stage due to his music career failures. The documentarians investigate to find out if this really happened or not. Won't say what they discover but I will say it's very much worth a watch and reaction.

As someone who has a spinal cord injury myself, unfortunately all people who have had this injury feel all those things. We go through all those thoughts like Christopher did. It took me over a year to walk the stage at my graduation after my injury. I’m now 9 years independent on my own fully, now learning to drive again after 14 years. It is crazy to look back on all that of what I was going through to where I’m at now. I don’t regret it all, though the side effects are still hard and troublesome to deal with on a daily basis but damn did it show me how real people were
