I know that this level is supposed to be the final hurdle, but having a checkpoint at the place with the spiked ants would be nice. The game itself is pretty straightforward and not too hard. The only hard levels are Champion's Road and the final mystery house. When players first attempt these two levels they will only face repetition and a very steep difficulty increase. Maybe if the game prepared you for the difficulty I would like it a bit more. Other than that, this level is really fun once you get the timing down on all the jumps.

I felt difficulty progression as "fair". If anything maybe difficulty should have started ramping up a little more towards world 5 or so. I found the first 8 or 9 worlds pretty simple. The last two "bonus" worlds before champions road (which I have not unlocked yet) ramped up difficulty a fair bit. I didn't find too many levels... VERY hard, but a handful in the bonus worlds had me dying 8 or 10 times before getting through.

On the other hand, it is nice that my 9 year old daughter and I can both enjoy the game. She finds it very difficult once you get around world 5. I don't really get going until world 8 and I didn't get stuck until the double crown levels. I've now beaten this one with every character, but only by beating it with Roselina 4 times in MANY tries and at the end of each, adding a second character so I could get them both to complete it at once. I haven't gotten past 13 stars on the last mystery house. That's the only thing I'm missing from 100% completion.

Rosalina‘s hitting and spinning is so cool because all the other characters don’t hit and the only character that does hit is Rosalina and I like her but me and my sister used to take turns being told in this game but now we can take turns being with a Rosalina

Each section of Champion's Road represents a month of 2022. 0:13 - January thru March. 0:43 - April & May. 1:25 - June. 1:46 - July & August. 2:03 - September. 2:52 - October (how perfect, since it's the scariest part). 3:41 - November. 4:15 - December.

The game doesn't prepare you in the slightest for the huge challenge this is. It just ends up feeling cheap. Why is a game that was a total cakewalk for a dozen worlds is now suddenly turning into Super Meat Boy? It's ridiculous. The game should have been harder from the start.

That is wrong, I am using a Dualsense. So using a pro controller would be fine. There aren't many segments in the entire game where you need to use the cursor, and the parts that you do don't require any precision so a shaky gyro is no big deal.
