Been having a very rough December, two very bad events happened. Don't wanna get into it but what I will say is I got a 3ds capture card installed last month. This was one of the games I streamed before everything hit and broke the fan for me this month, so this remix is special to me. Also because I grew up with this game back when it was new. For some reason they had the full game in a 3ds kiosk at my local walmart, so I would go up to the kiosk and see if there was progress or if the store reset the file. Been listening to your stuff for a long time now, thank you for doing what you do here and thank you for making this! Your remix's have helped keep me going throughout life, and this parricular remix will help me get through this month while I figure out what my next step in life will be!

Instantly listened to this when you put it up on your Patreon. This is one of my favorite tracks from 3D World and you gave it so much more charm. I always find that ice worlds in mario games have some of the best music and levels and that holds especially true in 3D world with a large diversity in the types of levels that are in world 3 as well as some of the most fun ones (especially 3-1 with the propeller block and crouching trick on ice letting you fly across most if not all of the level) I do love the more calm tempo that your remix has compared to the original as this gives it more of a Christmas holiday feel, definitely gonna play it at Christmas parties this holiday!

It's crazy how Qumu has been remixing for over a decade, and they're still pulling classics out of Nintendo OSTs. The well of quality music runs deeps, and I also appreciate their attention to variety, both in genre and energy. Amazing timing to bring this one out. It could genuinely qualify as an OST from Nintendo game in this decade. Calm, detailed and more complex than the original at some points, but the details round it up very well, while the art is fitting aswell.
