On the coin ship, right before you go down the tunnel to play the guys with boomerangs, there is an extra life mushroom. If you do not kill the boomerang guys, then it will allow you to play the level again so that you can get the star.

Jgreeneyes83: That information his incorrect, if you die in a coin ship, it become a hammer bro on the map, but you will have to do the trick again to turn it back into a coins ship.

The trick is holding down the A button right as you squish one, once your as high as you can go in the air you tap the A button as much as you can to lengthen the amount of time you float in the air. Then squish the next one and repeat.

On level 1 there's a white platform that you can sink into after 5sec. It always bugged me that I couldn't figure out what it's purpose was. I guess it never had one?

after you sink in to the white block, you become semi-transparent and appear to be "behind the scenery" and when you go to clear the course it will take you to a treasure chest with that first warp whistle in it. Anyway, some people call it a kaiser blade, I call it a Sling Blade.

The cloud that the princess will give you lets you skip levels... Equipping it makes Mario look like a cloud and you can skip certain levels...

so the castle trick part still does not work on world 1 if your using a Nintendo system version it may work fine with a computer version game but doesn't with the Nintendo version i tried the trick tons of times and it does not work but all the other tricks do work fine. go to one of the ice world and fly up and go in the door

He has rows and rows of P-Wings because he beat the game before the video and then just hit 1 Player to start a new game. They give you the P Wings as a reward. The Cloud powerup lets you skip any act on any world you want. (The squares with the numbers or anything like the Sun level or the Pyramid level on World 2. not like the things that take you in the level instantly like the Chomp head thing on Level 7 or a Hammer bro)
