Wow, this is silly. (5:43, 9:45) Good thing the midair swimming physics still allow you to reach running speed on the ground. (8:26) Yep, hammers can actually hurt you while you're entering a pipe. This can even happen in an unmodified SMB game. For instance, I believe it's possible to get beaned while you're entering the pipe to the coin room in world 7-1, by a Hammer Bro. to the left if you didn't kill him. (Also, fire bars can hit you as you're entering pipes as well, but I don't think there's any place where that can happen in the unmodified SMB game.)

What I’ve learned: Toad is almost always the enemies. Toad can be Goomba’s or Hammer Bros. Peach can be a Hammer Bro. Bowser is broken. Apparently Peach and Toad can float. The music get’s mixed up.

1. Goombas are apparently toads that betrayed the mushroom kingdom 2. Thats why Bowser kidnaps peach, he says she's his wife or wants her to be, but in reality, he is trying to control the Princess peach population.
