***** While i love both Mario and Sonic (but i hate the retarded fanbase of Sonic and their gay ass roleplayers) Sonic would actually win in a death battle. Mario may have massive powerups, but Sonic has Super Sonic mode, and his speed which allows him to outrun Mario, even when Mario becomes huge.

I have an nes. Just use air duster/keyboard cleaner. That way there’s no risk of moisture getting on the leads inside cartridges

The problem with most old school nes systems is the connecting pins got knocked out of whack by using a game genie. The part is replaceable and then you just need to clean the contacts on the games periodically with a qtip.
