Really? I feel Peach is a bit off. Charlie Day vastly disappointed me with his Luigi. Chris Pratt still very meh as Mario. The only voices I am loving are Jack Black as Bowser and Keegan Michael Key as Toad.

I saw the direct livestream as well. I have no words after watching the 2nd trailer of the Mario Movie. All I can say is, incredible. This new trailer is incredible. They have a bunch of references from the previous Mario games and everything. And we get to see what Cranky Kong, Donkey Kong, and Peach looks like in the movie and everything. I love it a lot. Illumination did a great job. As a Mario Boy, I’m excited to see this movie extremely.

If the success of this movie prompts a Legend of Zelda movie, then heck yes! However, for me personally, I don't want it to look like this. I'd definitely want it to have this level of quality, for sure, but I don't want it to look like this. I think this style is perfect for Mario, not so much for a Zelda movie.

I know, right? This movie is telling us that Peach is fully aware of the chaos Bowser has wrought throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, so instead of being the damsel in distress and relying on just the Mario Bros to save her, she's taking matters into her own hands. I mean, if your kingdom was constantly under assault from a fire breathing turtle monster, you would fight back too.

Anya Taylor Joy sounds good as Peach. Getting to hear more dialog from Pratt and Day's Mario and Luigi respectively, I think Pratt is...fine but Charlie Day is doing very well so far. Didn't hear much from Rogan's DK... I think as long as we take this as it's own thing and not directly with the video games, it should be fine. I know this got me excited!

I believe (and I haven't seen this movie yet) that the super mario bros movie will be my favorite movie of all time. Mario is the most infamous video game charater of all time. Playing mario games throughout my childhood has made me love this character and all the other characters like Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Donkey Kong etc. Everyone of all ages and background either know who mario is and what he looks and sounds like. I NEVER BEEN SO PUMPED UP FOR A MOVIE IN MY LIFE. I believe this movie will make well over a billion dollars in the box office!

This movie looks amazing. I'm hoping the voice acting can match up to the animation. Bowser's voice so far is a solid 9/10 for me. Toad & Luigi are exactly blowing me away but I don't have any problem with the voices. Still not big on Chris Pratt's Mario voice so far but it's still more effort put into it than I expected from him, so there is that. I don't know how I feel about Peach's voice. I'm not familiar with the actress so I don't know if this is just her normal voice or not but right now the voice feels like what I was expecting from Chris Pratt where it just feels like someone just using their regular voice. If I closed my eyes and listened to Bowser, Toad, & Luigi, I can feel like I'm in the Mario world. If I closed my eyes and listened to Peach, I just feel like I'm in the real world talking to someone. Hopefully my opinion will change. And before anyone brings up the whole "their video game voices would get annoying in a full length movie" argument, I have no attachment to their video game voices. Almost all the Mario games I played in my life were older games that had no real voices in them, maybe just the occasional "wahoo", so my feel towards the voices here isn't bases on wishing they had just kept the exact same voices from the game. I still wish they would've hired actual voices actors(not necessarily the ones from the game) but I understand they need people they want people with some kind of name recognition that they can trot out on talk shows and send to media junk its and stuff to help sell the movie.

I’m so glad I made it this far in life that I get to enjoy the “true” Super Mario movie on the big screen! When I say “true” the movie is true to the game we grew up on except for few minor tweaks with the actors they chose to voice the characters. Chris Pratts version of Mario isn’t spot on but I can live with it considering he’s using Mario’s classic quotes with that Mario we know and love sound. The old Movie still has a place in my heart because I saw it in theaters back then as a kid but I know for sure they got it right this time. Here We Goooo!!! 🍄
