I remember when I first played the game, I heard the spooky music in the title screen and I was like “oh this is gonna be scary…” then when I got to the stage select, I heard the music Mario and Luigi minigame explanation theme and I was like “Maybe not…?” Then I entered stage 1 and saw common enemies like Goombas and Koopa Troopas and heard Mario Party music and I was like “Phew…” I miss this game very much

@@ReeseJohnson-zc3dn yeah i agree dude, the "dead and desolate" ambience of the backround was one of the reasons why, and maybe other flash games too Like, i remember playing a game about Garfield in a haunted mansión that i couldn't ever beat because the game over of Garfield running away made me felt very uncomfortable, and other gane about being a ghost n scaring people and making them leave a big house by possesing things, which does not sound that bad since you're the one haunting people, but it still managed to scare me anyway I think that affected in some way what I felt about "dead and desolate" places or whatever, ironically, now these games make me feel comfy in some way, i love it
