First ever 8:0x! For this category, the small only route and fire route are close to the same speed, but I ultimately decided that I'd rather use the small only route. Although this is a great run all around, there are still various framerules that can be saved in multiple levels, so I'd love to improve this further in the future!

Many questions: 1. At 1:10, why did you release Right before doing the turnaround jump? I would assume it's for subspeed stuff, but that wouldn't make sense here. 2. At 1:20, why'd you release Right for a brief moment? Is it for subspeed stuff for the blazit clip? 3. Speaking of the blazit clip, at 1:23, why'd you release Right before doing the blazit clip? Is it again for subspeed stuff? 4. At 1:41, how'd you get past that section without slowing down and dying to the spiny? In the original game, you have to slow down, otherwise you die. Why isn't that the case here? 5. At 1:51, why didn't you land on the top of the stairs and grab the top of the flagpole? Does it not lose a framerule here? 6. Why'd you do a buffer jump at the start of 4-3? I heard in your stream that it's to avoid fireworks, but you were two in-game seconds away from getting fireworks, so it seems pointless to me. 7. At 4:34, why didn't you land on the back lip of the pipe and grab the very top of the flagpole? Is it because it's harder and doesn't save a framerule? 8. At 5:39, why did you slow down? Is it not possible to pass that section without slowing down and dying? 9. Why did you do a buffer jump at the start of 8-4? Why didn't you do the normal strat of running forward and doing two jumps to pass the first part and slowing down if needed? How I would prefer you answer these questions: put the question number than your answer, e.g. "2. Correct." GG on the first 8:0X Niftski!

1. i find it easier to space out the inputs and time a left>right press when i land 2 and 3. subspeed yes 4. you can noslowdown the spiny for whatever reason in all-stars 5. you can't grab the top of the pole unless you are luigi 6. it was to get more favorable bullet bill patterns 7. you get the same framerule with bottom pole and going for that is a bit risky 8. that jump is frame perfect without a slowdown 9. buffer jump makes the section before the pipe entry a 2 frame window instead of it being frame perfect

yes, at the beginning of every level you get control of mario for 1 frame, the level fades in, then you get full control afterwards
