I honestly think the way how Firebars rotated in SMB1 was the best. I wish Super Mario Maker could have used that version of the rotation instead of what we ended up getting

3:02 Measured by how you look at it you could even claim they are "lesser versions", as their hitbox isn't absolute to their rotation point and you can even spin on SMW's Flails (to me they will always be flails regardless of their actual name)... 5:31 *Shadow Queen snickering in her Palace* "He's so wrong..." There are probably more examples, but that's the one that immediately springs to my mind. As for me, TTYD was the first instance I "met" Fire Bars outside of a 2D Mario Platformer, that's why it's so stuck in my head, I guess. Granted, they are also in the occasional Bowser Stage, but there they were nothing special as these were meant to be an SMB Callback.

Don't Forget Yoshi's Island , DS and YNI. Don't forget that in Super Mario Advance 4 (SMB3 for GBA), firebars return in several levels, including an aquatic world full of firebars, and castles very much in the style of SMB3 but with firebars.

@@BlueC0rd I am his editor :P Pretty well known to be his. And the thing is.. it's not speed.. but are hidden in corners. You are trying well... but I tend to hide them on icons or behind something the comes in from the side. Infact one replaces a clock symbol in footage, it's right in your face :) Good luck anyway I won't spoil more but the hints are: "Box art and Clock"

What do you mean by change? How can a simple thing as a fire bar change with it still being a fire bar? The only thing I see is size, speed, length, multi ended and multi stack. Those are really the only things a fire bar can really change into while still being called a fire bar, but yet thats not the change you want, but what else is there to change?
