According to the manual from the first game, Bowser's Galaxy Generator was going to cause the universe to collapse, Galaxy Generator that was being powered by a Grand Star. Quite incredible considering how Mario's universe is composed.

When the engine room unlocks and lights up after getting the grand star from the 2nd bowser fight I legit just get so happy bc the engine room is my favorite dome

I love it when the engine room unlocks because the music gets to its fullest potential. I LOOVEEE Toy Time Galaxy and Bonefin Galaxy was one of the creepiest mario things ever. Sea Slide is okay, but Gold Leaf is just meh for Me. My favorite dome is probably the kitchen or garden but my favorite Galaxy is freezeflame
