The mechanics change between the "games". For example: In New Super Mario Bros you can walljump and in the old Super Mario Bros you can't pick up items. Also some items change. In Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario bros Yoshi is replaced with a boot. Hope this helped and have a nice day!

+iCantEvenButtons Still, just by the nature of being the creator, Panga has an advantage going into 8 of the levels since he's almost guaranteed to know them better than anyone.

+DrilRemover These guys have been running these levels since the game came out, pretty much. They consistently swap personal best times for these levels. There's no unfair advantage, they've all studied these levels and played them at least a hundred times. It's as fair as fair can be.

Actually, Drill is right. You have to beat a level before uploading, therefore he has more practice in it either way.

If he uploads the level he has, let say, a couple hours extra, then Carl or Poo play it for 5 hours a day, for a whole week, then they start racing each other, and practice the level daily because at the end of the week they are going to race again over and over again. The initial advantage of Panga means nothing if he doesn't practice, the ones that play it more, and practice, are going to be better than the creator. That's way players hold world record for games and not the game creators or programmers.

Ok, es que yo vi un vídeo donde los competidores no conocían las misiónes y las terminaban más rápido (claro que se les complicaba mucho), pero aprendían de los errores...creó que por éso esté vídeo no me gustó de la misma manera que el otro y para mí en lo personal me gustaría que compitieran de ésa manera, pero cada quién. Todos tenemos gustos diferentes.
