+Gurgling Hermits yeah, the gameplays mostly fine, but where the problem comes in is that Samus is a character a lot of people respect and admire, meanwhile the devs for Other M didn't seem to share that. seems like she's always being put in her place or following orders that don't make sense even when they put her at risk, things like that. and yes, the story in the game kind of matters considering all the time and resources spent trying to make Samus a deep character. it matters to the gameplay since you're always on a leash and can't do anything until Adam gives her/you permission which impedes your own progress and i'm going to stop before my tangent gets any worse. ._.

Jeremiah Legere Oh, I'm so sorry, sometimes they only post 2 videos a day! Y'know they posted 3 yesterday though, right? And many other days too? Sorry that I didn't say that they often only do 2 a day and not 3. Like it really matters. Still more than most other gamers I watch on KZbin (who, at best, post one every other day). Still requires a lot of time and hard work. Still doesn't really give people a reason to complain.

Yeah so much work playing a video game while talking over top of it. They don't even edit their own videos, gimme a fucking break. They're just lazy and preying on whatever is "currently popular" which is a sleezy, money-making philosophy. So yeah, people get pissed off and rightly so.

WhiteVII Sorry, I'm not trying to start any arguments. It was just my opinion and I don't see the need for all the added hate in the word, y'know? Yeah, I get that they don't do as much as some people do for their job, but at the end of the day it's still their job. They don't choose how much they get paid for it. They happen to be successful at their job, which is to entertain people (something actors, musicians, djs etc. also do). In the modern day, KZbin is a really popular source of entertainment. So what, they don't edit their own videos? That's not what they're paid for. They play the games and they make people laugh, and obviously they can't make everyone happy but they still entertain thousands of people. No offense intended, but you don't do their job and you aren't as successful at their job as they are so you can't say whether it's easy or not. And it takes some sort of skill to do what these guys do, otherwise literally everyone would do it and be successful and it wouldn't be such a big deal!

Well I can understand missing out Fed Force. It's an okay game but isn't really a main series game, it's a spin-off. Samus Returns is part of the main story, and sets up both Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion.

@Spiderfog To be fair, Samus returns did slip under the radar- it wasn't shown in the main nintendo show, was over shadowed by the Metroid prime 4 announcement and was released very shortly after it was first shown to the public during a sideshow not many people watched. @Oniguma Normally I'd agree but the metroid series is one of those few series where the handheld games do count, sometimes more then the home console games (Like Zelda and Pokemon). Metroids success on handheld devices may actually be bigger then it's success on consoles if not very similar. @Kevboard Arts I don't know if you've actually played Metroid 2 and Samus Returns but 'remake' doesn't mean shit in this case. Like how Zero Mission is a 'remake' of the original NES game. Samus Returns is by technicality a remake but realistically it's complete redo to replace the original Metroid 2 and could have just as easily been sold as a completely new game if they took out a single short section of the otherwise pretty long game. It was just a safer play to add that small baby metroid moment and go with it being a 'remake' of the one game many fans of the series haven't played.

Ah I had so much fun too! I took a lot longer, but I finally beat most of it. I actually finished Dark Side and got to Darker Side a LONG time ago. But I got so frustrated with Darker Side that I took a break and I just stopped playing. I started playing again recently, trying to get all the moons, and I forgot just how much fun this game was! The controls are so damn tight and the moves are so fun. There are so many speedrun tactics and so many different ways to play. Nintendo truly knocked it out of the park with this game and this system.
