I get what people are saying about wanting Arin to play games for the first time on Grumps. But at the same time, if he did that people would still get mad at him for not knowing what to do. A lot of people just like to give Arin a hard time no matter what he does and it’s not fair to him. Personally, I really like this play through so far and it’s fun to experience this as an audience just like Dan is! :-)

Well its not the amount, it's more the quality I'm on about. Skyward sword wasn't exactly the best zelda but BotW is pretty dang legit. And Mario Galaxy wasn't bad but it wasn't for me, But I adore odyssey! Then the Wii U didn't sell that great but the Switch is killing it. So It's just sort of been an all around return to form y'know? :p

Agreed. I really liked watching the beginning of the Breath of the Wild playthrough because there was so much discovery and new things to be done and seeing their reactions to it was really nice. The playthrough became less enjoyable as time went on because Arin played through it on his own at home and was kind of like "Meh lets finish this thing up" on recording sessions.

The only reason people complain about why Arin doesn't know how to do anything is because he always ignores the tutorials. Funny thing I noticed about this game, having beaten bowser, is that, while the game starts out pretty easy on all fronts, I saw a very clear ramp in difficulty the further I went, and even earlier on, it seemed like this game really is only as difficult as you want it to be, or by how determined you are to find EVERYTHING. And after beating Bowser? Shit, I still have SOOO much stuff to find, and I've already been running into WAY more difficult challenge areas that I've had to redo a bunch of times. It almost feels like removing the lives system made Nintendo more willing to put really difficult sections into the game. Granted, I agree with a lot of people saying the death penalty should have been something like 100 coins instead of 10.

They do acknowledged that the classic Mario didn't have blue on him, just brownish red, since they let you buy that outfit and call it Classic. But I think Arin didn't pick up on the fact that 2D Mario always has the clothes that 3D Mario is wearing. This is not even the first game to acknowledged it, Mario Maker had 2 amiibos, one for the classic colors and one for the blue clothes.

Arin don't fuckin tell Dan theories like they're canon. Also press Y during a ground pound to dive. It's good for squeezing in extra air distance or quickly altering the direction you're jumping in

About Arin complaining that the 2d sprite isn't the "classic" colors: The game changes it based on your current outfit (at least if the hat and costume match), so of course the sprite will be red and blue.
