The jump rope one can be extremely difficult but if you know the glitches it is a joke the volley ball also works this way with two player just not as effective also yeah this is a really bullshit moon

Tip: just figured out (after playing this level for an eternity) that the reason you get stuck in the circle area and then die is because you’re only using left and right to move, when in reality you eventually have to press up and down when you’re at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions.

@@rotundmonibuv5103 Theoretically - I understand the design, but in most games if you are steering 'left' you continue to move in that direction until you release the controls, at that point it re-orients. I feel like that's how this level should have been designed... that if you released control, then it would assume the directionality that you were currently in. This level straight up sucks.

For the part with the blocks, holding Y is your friend. For the part with the circles, imagine the circles are clocks and Mario is the minute hand. Move your joystick like a clock in a 360 degree motion to move Mario the direction he needs to go relative to the direction of the circles.

For the moving circles part, controls are more of a 360 degree style (clock) rather than traditional left or right. That's why you get stuck.

My husband and I pulled together our skills to complete this. There was no way I was gonna be able to do all that jumping when the map was moving so he he did this part...then I took over for the upside down round and round part. We literally jumped for joy when we managed to get the final moon with only 1 health left!!!!! Went in with just over 1000 coins, came out 3112 😂 worst....moon....ever

This level was pretty frustrating, but it's kind of neat to think that the world based on Super Mario 64 has a stage that simulates classic SMB gameplay and graphics while also incorporating Super Mario Galaxy gravity effects. The only really unfortunate part that seems unfair is that you probably need several attempts at the circular platforms to get used to the controls, but that part is toward the end of the level and whenever you die you have to start over from the beginning.

Finally beat this two hours and several life up hearts later. I had to have Balloon Battle running just to fuel all of the coins it was costing me. A couple tips: - For the bullet section, if you make it to where you need to jump upwards, wait for the first bullet above your head to pass. There's an opening there where you can pretty much ignore the bullets and quickly jump your way through. - Change your control mapping. I mapped the side bumpers to Y so I could hold the button down for running with my ring finger to make running and jumping easier. You pretty much have to run the whole way through.

@@HurryRavn Yes, you can. :) They don't really explain it, but there are several spots in the game that you can't finish without 2D running. It lets you jump farther and run right across small gaps.

I’m by no means an expert Mario player, just in it for the fun and exploration. But this part is a real challenge for me. It seems like the controls change depending on where you are on those circles. I guess it makes sense but at the same time you don’t have much time to not take hits if you mess up. Maybe I’ll go in there with an extra heart so I can take a few hits and still make it.

The controls are inconsistent to the point of being literally bugged. People saying this is the most "difficult" are not understanding the difficulty lies in the game itself being broken. If the controls were at least consistently inverted, the level would be possible. It seems to be mostly RNG on if your controls will allow you to progress through the planet section.

Plus, it's never been necessary until this one to get the Moon, so I never tried running. I just didn't think to push the Y button.

Fall into the 3D zone. In the first part of thr stage you can just start over. After that, it's instant death and you have to start over from the beginning. No checkpoints here, which is why everyone finds this so hard.

Hands down hardest level on game , the key is turn on assist mode , get six lives , run across and the little bricks don’t jump, keep holding down run and don’t let to even when you turn back on yourself to jump on the 3 little bricks , about 100 try’s and head slaps . It’s my sons game and he really wanted That moon 🌙 😅

I was having trouble with the first part, when I learned that it gets even harder i just gave up and only collected the bullet bill moon. It's not worth going mad for one moon when you can also get one moon for fucking sitting on a bench or ground pounding. Why would I try it like 50 times to get one moon. I only see doing this if this one the last moon I had to get in the game.

This area in a nutshell: On the 20th April 2018 i found this and got 2D boost from bullet bill. On the 21st MAY 2018, I got the Secret 2D treasure moon. I was so happy when i got Secret 2D treasure moon XD.
