yaaaaaaas or a sequel because mario 64 has morio 64 ds and mario galaxy has mario galaxy 2 and mario 3d land has mario 3d world but sunshine dosnt have a second one and i think that that is unfair for super mario sunshine i mean the running guy could be a villian since he found bowser jr's staff/paintbrush thing.

I keep seeing Nintendo sacrifice efforts towards a good story and good cutscenes for gameplay. I understand that gameplay is important but the story is what drives people through the plot. The gameplay is really the motor that drives the vehicle but you need something gamers want to look forward to.

Please never make games for the casual gamer. You are a AAA studio. Casual gamers aren't even real gamers.. more hardcore games are enjoyed by all ages, especially younger demographics like all those kids who grew up with NES and SNES. Its not important to develop for a very young audience either since their obsession with gaming is absolute regardless and they will enjoy whatever game that has subject matter which appeals more to them, regardless of difficulty. Its only important that subject matter is appropriate for the approval of these kid's parents. One could even go so far to say that casual gaming doesn't matter and nobody really needs or wants it. Casual game is synonymous with bad game and Nintendo has the capacity to make great games so its a waste to ever think casual for this studio - unless you're developing for a highly casual device like mobile. This doesn't mean make needlessly difficult or serious games, but that game design shouldn't be sacrificed for kids or casuals who will play and enjoy whatever regardless.

The reason casual games exist is to be purely fun and accessible. I'll be honest when I say that Nintendo could find a way to blend casual and hardcore, such as like what they are doing with BotW, they are making a massive, large-scale game with lots of survival aspects, but making it accessible and easy to learn.

I've waited 15 years for this. I loved the Galaxy games and 3D world, but I missed the full freedom of exploring fully open sandbox 3d environments. Super Mario 64 is still a classic even though some aspects show their age, it is still a blast to play. Sunshine was also awesome, while not everyone's cup of tea, like 64 it was fun to explore, experiment and play around in. Sure it had some flaws, eg the camera, blue coins and some dodgy missions (pachinko machine, looking at u) but it was an awesome game still. 15 years later and I'm really looking forward to how they pull off the well overdue sandbox Mario.
