1. Random stages for battle mode is fine... as an Option. But i hope we can select them manually as well. 2. One thing i really disliked about Mariokart Wii was not being able to remove NPC players from battle mode (or race mode). This better not be the case for 8 Deluxe. sometimes i just want it go against my friends and not have to worry about NPC's. (i think i heard them say this was an option, but the audio was bad so i could barely hear). 3. I believe MK-Wii also did not allow for adjustment of balloons as previous MK games did. This should be an option again.

So, are there only new battle stages, or did they add new race stages as well? Or are they simply adding on all the DLC?

The battle courses and new characters are well appreciated (and by new, I of course mean the Inklings. The other characters should've been in the original.) But why no new tracks? Yes there's so many in the game already but an extra cup or two might've been nice to really sell the game...again to those who own the Wii U version.
