Cappy Roll Jump: Throw Cappy (don't stop holding Y), do a groundpound (don't stop holding ZL), press X at the right time and steer in the right direction. Roll Cancel Vectoring: Do a Groundpound (don't stop holding ZL), steer forward and press X, Y and A at the same time. Both methods require to find the right angle. 45° should be the perfect angle.

I can't get used to seeing Mario in a realistic big city with normally proportioned people walking around and doing normal every day mundane stuff, like travelling to work or any number of other activities. For over 30 years now Mario has always been in the mushroom kingdom, or a handful of other fantasy settings and it is really hard to picture him in a city full of sky scrapers and pavement and cars and not grassy areas with plumbing pipes and pitfalls into the void, and a variety of creatures with different colored turtle shells and pirahna plants and bullet bills. It is definitely a great game and looks fantastic, it's just a shock to the system seeing Mario in a big metropolitan area with full sized human beings, lol.

The reason why the mushroom kingdom one was impossible, is because there's an invisible wall that players can't bypass. The reason why there's an invisible wall in the first place, is so that way players who are playing the game early (by that I mean playing the main story) can't access to it until they complete the game.

There is an easy alternative to roll cancel vectoring, ground pound roll off the edge at a 45 degree angle to your target, and then quickly let go of X or Y to stop rolling, and steer yourself towards your target. I've done the Bowser jump at least five times with this method, 0 times with roll cancel vectoring because it is too hard. Sometimes I call the easier method "groundpound roll runout"

Hutkovsky it’s called impossible jump because it was not intended by Nintendo to be possible, so Nintendo thought it was impossible to these jumps and that’s why it’s called impossible jump.

I just want to say, after you Cappy dive once, you can press B (or A depending on your preference) once to hover for .5 - 1 second to make a longer gap. You are still able to Cappy dive a second time like normal. You just get farther.
