I mean it's just one reveal trailer and the game comes out till Oct. 17th this year. Hopefully the next trailer would show more characters like Pauline, Diddy Kong, Dry Bones, Hammer Bros, etc. as unlockable characters.

I dont think so because they will add 3 more playable characters on Bowsers side at the start instead of making them unlockable, BUT i do believe there should be 6 or 8 unlockable characters besides the MOST LIKELY 24 starting roster so that the roster will be even since they done this in Super Mario Party way back in 2018 by having 12 playable characters available from the start and 4 unlockable. And as for 3 character that needs to be available from the start on Bowser sidi that i think it should be the following: Hammer Bro, Blooper and either Pom Pom or Dry Bones. And as for the unlockables for BOTH SIDES should be the following: Mario's side: Diddy Kong, Pauline, Prince Florian and POSSIBLY either Greenie or Goob from either Luigi's Mansions 2 or 3 because they are friendly ghosts BEFORE King Boo brainwashed them to follow his command and misbehaved to harm Luigi and his friends, and besides i feel like they really needed a good ghost species to be a playable character. Bowser's side: Either Pom Pom or Dry Bones, Chargin' Chuck, King Boo and POSSIBLY either Piranha Plant or Petey Piranha.

I think we'll have a roster of 28-30 characters total. Diddy Kong, Dry Bones, and Hammer Bro will all likely return, and Pauline could finally make her playable Mario Party debut. Idk about the return of Pom Pom, but her and Boom Boom in the game is still within the realm of possibility (considering some hidden footage of Boom Boom). Chargin' Chuck also seems to have been leaked as a playable character. Having Nabbit and Blooper playable would be pretty cool too! ;o)

Some people mention that Boom Boom is going to be a Minigame host for a specific Minigames, also the ones are there is Lakitu, and a Red Koopa, and the other one I don’t know, but I do agree with you that the title has “Jamboree” in it, so who knows.

Well with Koopathalon having a 20 player online it wouldn’t make sense to have that and have 21 characters where one character isn’t getting picked so there’s probably unlockable characters since Ninji isn’t in the group shot, plus let’s remember that Daisy wasn’t shown off in Superstars until the month prior to its release so likely Diddy, Pauline & Dry Bones haven’t been shown off yet and considering both Dry Bones and Diddy had no roles in any of the boards, modes and minigames in Superstars it’d be really baffling for them to miss out on another Mario Party game

I 100% think we will be getting 24-30 playable characters. My main concern is how bowsers team only has 9 so far and Mario’s team has 12, meaning the remaining 3 characters would be on team bowser, unless they decide to include Diddy and Pauline to make the roster 14 per side, which at that point, just make it 30 which is 10 MORE than SMP. Best case scenario, we get 15 characters per team rounding it out to 30 characters which is insane
