A Kerokero Cola was my last remaining healing item in this battle, and _every single time_ I used it, I got a freebie. Happened 3 to 4 times at *_least._* I still wonder if the game fudged the numbers, since I was low-level and on my last healing item, it was the last battle, and the game's aimed at younger kids (which I certainly was). Or... just coincidence.

I just realized that smithy's 2nd form is basically just an enlarged version of his first form. Minus the hair, beard and eyebrows.

Which reminds me. I'm doing a playthrough of Super Mario RPG where I have to beat the game without equipping weapons or using peach in battle. This will be my final setup once I battle Smithy: Mario: Hero Shirt Troopa Pin Bowser: Lazy Shell Rare Scarf Geno: Star Cape Safety Ring But anyways what equipment did you use when you fought Smithy in this playthrough? Just curious.
