It’s the classic game with updated graphics,additional enemies and Dinosaurs, new tricks traps and paths, updated mechanics, and all new surprises along the way. Mario and the gang have decided to take a break from adventuring only to find that there is yet another adventure to be had! It’s the same old story, Bowser kidnaps the Princess blah blah blah.
This is a re-imagining of the original game with sort of a Lucas twist. Now Dinosaur Land actually has a wide variety of Dinosaurs, Luigi is his own man and not just a color swap of his brother, Toad joins the adventure with tips and useful item stops, all new original levels, and much much more! Just wanted to let everyone still interested know that version 5.0 of this game is up on the site. Every time I think I'm done I get reports from people like you all about new bugs that I missed. I strive for perfection so I always appreciate the input. I will say I've capped the new dinos at 20 different kinds (not including dinos that were already there or color variations) but I always appreciate people letting me know if something is messed up or improvement ideas to things that aren't feeling quite right. The new dinos are inserted very well here. It's not about just shoving everything in at once like some cheap and amateur fan hack; it's about gradually introducing them in areas where it makes sense in a way that you might imagine would have happened if this were an official Nintendo release.

The real trick to the questions mark block game is use a cape. Go from left to right every time. And hit the block by jumping to its side and pressing “y” to hit the block with your cape. DO NOT USE “A”. It almost never works with “a”

seems kinda stupid to do that if they're gonna keep the item box. so you have a mushroom, you get a flower, mushroom goes into the box, you get hit, you revert back to super mario, and the mushroom falls... why? it's duplicative.

The mushroom only falls automatically if you get hit and go to being small mario.

That's how it always was in my game (on the SNES). Having a power-up means you have two hits. Getting hit means you lose the power-up, it's not like you got hit twice.

I always read the manuals too. But Super Mario World came packaged with the SNES so that’s probably why most people didn’t read it.

They weren't actually lying about the thing where dinos were kinda like birds. The surviving dinosaurs eventually evolved into some species of birds, most notably chickens! Plus, there's evidence that these gargantuan beasts were more bird-like than lizard-like, as they did have feathers, and it's no surprise that many of them also had beaks. Velociraptors, for instance, could've resembled angry turkeys! Finally, I do believe there's evidence that dinos cared for their nests and children a lot, which is exactly the opposite behavior of most reptiles, but quite similar to that of most birds.
