Gogeta's first debut was uncannon in fusion reborn. The DBZ Movies, with the exception of Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are not canon. What makes something canon is if it appears in both the manga and anime/movie form, and since the events of broly were also made in the super manga, Gogeta and Broly became canon.
