Hey guys! 2 things. 1. Veku is already a character. It's the name given to the failed fusion of Goku and Vegeta with the potara dance (the fat one) 2. Buu Saga is 100% Canon, but there is a LOT of filler in the anime that isn't necessarily Canon. So that might be the confusion.

Loved your reactions and seeing yall break down your reasonings for the winner etc. As far as Michas logic in the person that lasts an hour being the best bet, it also has the same flaw/stalemate of the way the battle ends. The guy in the middle concluded that the battle ending due to the earrings being destroyed wouldn't technically are sense because it would no longer be against the fuzed warrior correct? The same is true the other way around when you base it on 30 mins vs an hour. The 30 min warrior will split apart and it would still end up a battle against Goku and Vegeta separately. @@DayoDusk Nah, I’d just go watch the animated movie or one of the numerous occasions in the comics where the two fought. It’s better than anything Death Battle could make compared to the official versions. Part of the charm and fun of Death Battle is bringing matchups that we’ve never seen before come to life. When it’s a same series matchup, it’s often far less exciting because there are plenty of existing versions in either media or games which often do better.

In the case with Bill Cipher, he may have reality warping powers, which is the same with Discord, but Bill's power tends to be more limited in what he can do with it and certain magic in a form of a barrier can still keep him in bay and needs outside help to create a portal to other dimensions. Discord on the other hand has no real limitations in what he can do, including opening portals to other dimensions, and is only weak to harmonic magic from a mcguffin device that the mane 6 uses on powerful villains. So unless Bill can find a way to harness the very magic that can be used against Discord, then the fight could still go either way.

Bill Cipher has more determination and focus than Discord but is more physically vulnerable, mostly his eye, as Discord can morph to adapt, even summon sunglasses out of thin air. Bill also needs to accept an agreement via handshake to achieve his goals, possibly threatening Fluttershy ... but that could only anger Discord. Both get emotional and distracted so it should be a good and somewhat even battle. Finally, and most importantly, Bill wants to bring chaos but Discord Thrives in Chaos as that's what powers his being; acting against his nature would cause him to dissappear. Bill would literally be powering Discord up.

Super hyped for Bill vs Discord. I love both, but....Bill is totally screwed. The more Chaos there is the more powerful Discord is....and as Bill is literally livng Chaos, nanything he does, heck just being there will boost up Discored's power. Plus....if we bring the MLP comics in.....Bill is even MORE screwed. Basically Discord even without his boosts is multiverse level. I think Discord will win, but there is a possible way for Bill to win. He could steal Discord’s power. On two occasions Discord had his powers drained, leaving him helpless and unable to get them back without help. Bill doesn’t even need to use the stolen powers, as he could just seal them away, like that magic bell did in the final season. On another note, I’m rooting and betting Cole to win.

But Bill did also fall for one of the most basic tricks in the book, two twins switching clothes and pretending to be the other one. So both are trickters, who has shown they can be fooled and tricked in return rather easily.

@@HB-fq9nn I do agree Discord has a bigger chance of winning, because unlike Discord, Bill has shown he has some limits. Like he can: Not initate a binding contract without a handshake. There are rituals to slow him down, contain him and even reduce his ability to affect you. Basically he, despite appearing to be chaotic, has a set of rules that he needs to work with. Discord haven't shown equivelant limits. Whatever he wants, he gets. The only reason anyone has defeated him, from what we can see, is because he isn't 100 % evil, just a VERY powerful being intend on amusing himself. He is known for breaking rules of nature and reality on a whim.

17:52 - Veku was kinda claimed by the Fusion Reborn movie too. Vegeta and Goku messed up the Fusion Dance on their first try and wound up turning into a useless fat guy like the tubby version of Gotenks. I don't recall if they said it in the movie itself, but this Fusion character is called Veku. Edit: I don't know if that person saying the Buu Saga isn't canon is because of Team Fourstar. There are some people out there that REALLY hate how goofy the Buu Saga got, as well as some people that think that the Cell Saga was the intended end for the franchise, so they refuse to accept the Buu Saga as canon. I've also run into some really toxic Gohan Stans that declare the Buu Saga non-canon because of how he's basically relegated back to being a side character. I think it's just as likely (if not more so) that someone from one of these groups likely made that comment about a DBZ watchlist. The only way I can actually imagine a Team Fourstar fan saying something like this is if they never saw the actual show and just go by their version for everything.

King Kai and some other Kai I am forgetting about at the moment I want to say it was South Kai but I legitimately don't remember were coming up with names for a Goku Vegeta fusion and that was one of the first ones that they came up with and they named the fat Fusion Veku.

While I want to be angry about the result, the logic regarding how Dance Fusion requires one power to be lowered to match the Fusion perfectly While Potara does not have that requirement makes the conclusion too reasonable for me to argue against. What I will NOT accept is the part in Gogeta's bio that says he's only had ONE canon appearance. Yes, GT is not canon to Super, but then one could give plenty of reasons why Super is not canon to Z considering the number of background and lore changes they made. GT AND Super are both canon in that they are both separate versions of the timeline. One follows after the end of Z, while the other starts BEFORE the end of Z, respectively. To say one is canon while the other is not is like saying NEITHER are canon. I really wish Dragonball fans could stop being so close minded about this. It solves nothing and just causes strife in the fandom where it doesn't have to.

I agree. Especially since Heroes and Xenoverse have arguably made clear DB has Multiple Timelines. Also, fans almost always love SSJ4. So yeah, I should just accept it. If Goku is a 10 and Vegeta is a 9 or 8, then Vegito could have a small to massive gap in power if the combined power isn't being lowered on one side.

One thing they didn't touch on is that the Broly movie said that in gogeta's form the power is not only added together but significantly multiplied which I think was retcon from the original sing where they had to be comparable in power to do it.
