This video was brutal! I'm a mega Metroid fan and Super Metroid is one of the greatest games of all time! I was torn between staying loyal to the source material... or doing a full Samus origin story. A lot of the boss designs are a little... creative... but I think overall I'm happy with the way things turned out.. Next video is Star Fox (obviously). despite some rough edges , some not matching faces/suits and a sexy unpractical suit (hard core fan of the mark-1 suit but loving the fan service tough ;P) , this looks great and frankly i always did wonder why they never made a metroid movie , they got plenty of material based on the multiple games they made , they got a well fleshed out character background and a small but solid universe background as well. All that aside , you did a great job with this fan made trailer and i do hope to what ever cosmic entity that can hear us , to prevent anyone from taking this down , this is a diamand in the rough waiting to be turned into something big and successful

🤔 . . . Here is a movie trailer idea. I highly recommend using SWtOR’s OPs, but, behind the scenes, its more of a reality show full of disgruntled hardcore fans (if you want the job done right, might as well do it yourself), but its presented as an official movie. After a long time of travel from a galaxy far far away, the Galactic Empire (Jedi Junkies) invades the Milky Way galaxy (Trekkies); its _Star Wars vs Star Trek_ . Each ‘contestant’ is allowed to create ONE character they can play as, in a two step rule system: 1: use only what exists in ‘official’ lore (this includes expanded universes & such); 2: there are no rules (contestants could be Hutt TIE pilots for all I care 🤷‍♂️). Aside from tweaking to fit the overall plot, especially Rebel Alliance vehicles, vessels, & other equipment having a more Imperial aesthetic (imagine Mon Calamari cruisers, A-Wings, B-Wings, X-Wings, Y-Wings, & more having the Galactic Imperial look & such). IF there had to be a trailer I’d prefer, build it up on what I would do as a contestant; pretend you’re the director & you’re filming me doing all these things, but you cut & edit it for plot reasons & such. I’m a Tiger looking Cathar with a Princely looking hairstyle (a ‘Ligar’ Cathar from SWtOR) in a Rebel Pilot Orange Imperial Officer’s uniform, in command of a Titan-class Star Destroyer, & I’m currently in the process of disabling an enemy starship/space station, until I sense a disturbance . . . My orange blade ignites & I look behind; apparently a Trekkie just [teleported] right behind me & was immediately impaled by my lightsaber; I ‘comically’ say “hello~o”, before turning off my lightsaber, in which he falls to the floor. I shout orders to continue disabling the target & for the ship to repel the boarders. After repelling the boarders in CQC with my Bo-Rifle, I get the communiqué that the enemy ship/space station is disabled, thus I inform the bridge that I’ll be getting into my personal Ugly Starfighter (its a YT series cockpit with three to four B-Wings attached onto it; its more of an attack shuttle, specifically designed for boarding actions, but is versatile enough for other specific tasks, if you let your imagination run wild here). After dropping from the hangar, my Star Destroyer drops what looks like TIE Bomber pods (elongated TIE pods) that my starfighter grabs with its cargo carrying tractor beams, four pods per B-Wing, due to the main wing & winglets (the original B-Wings’ S-Foils) having their own tractor beam emitters for this specific role (total amount can be twelve (12) or sixteen (16) pods, depending on the number of B-Wings on my Ugly Starfighter). When I’ve reached top speed AND I’m in range, I release the pods, which slams right into the enemy’s hull. Inside, the pods release their payload of battle droids, shortly followed behind by sabotage droids, to secure the hanger for me, & the rest of the [Jedi Junkies/hardcore _Star Wars_ fans], to land & do battle against the Trekkies. Again, this is merely an idea of how one plot line could go down, but feel free to do your own because, even though we’re closely matched, Trekkies only having a Slight edge in various key points, it’d be interesting to see how each fan base could turn the tide of this 🤷‍♂️

I love you enthusiasm for Metroid. And I've watched a few other videos that I enjoyed. The one for A Link To The Past specifically was awesome. But am wondering why Samus has such a huge chest. It reminds me of the nips on the Batsuit in Batman and Robin. No purpose, no use, and absolutely no sense lol. The way Samus looks in this is an odd choice. Shes not supposed to even be recognizable as a woman while suited. The whole deal in the beginning was that everyone thought she was a guy until you beat the game. Even so far that they referred to her as he in the instruction manual of the original. Just to throw people off. But with that aside this is some amazing work. Its certainly eye-candy. I'll be watching more in the future. Lemme just click subscribe. :)

I’m still learning different techniques making these videos. One of the first steps is to create a character reference. I created a lot of variations of her suit, most of them accurate to the game. Then for some reason I got this super curvy, rounded model and it was… just so different to the rest. I stuck with it (over the generic look) because hey…. the point of these videos is to be creative. Thanks for the awesome comment too!

Whoever made this video doesn't understand. It should not be designed in such a way that Samus in her suit shows her sexy body lines. It should be a representation of a beautiful woman hiding under strong, martial armor. When the first Japanese players picked up the game, they did not expect Samus to be a woman. They imagined a strong and sturdy male hunter. However, when they won the time attack and found out that “he” was a “she,” they were very surprised. This incongruity was very popular among Japanese game players. Therefore, it can be said that those who understand that the game is about a woman from the beginning do not understand the advantages of this game. The freckles on the face are also unconvincing, as if the game is trying to be politically correct. She is a superhuman who has been genetically engineered by Chozo to be able to survive in the harshest of environments to some extent in the flesh. Her figure should be as perfectly beautiful as that of an ancient Greek goddess. Even the slightest physical defect or appearance disadvantage due to a mistake in her genetic information should not be expressed. This is the stage of fiction. God does not care about the trivial ideology of man. If the producers cannot understand this, I assume that their efforts will be in vain.

Don't get me wrong I like sexy fantasy armor. And at this point any gamer knows Samus is a hot blonde women. But the plot twist of the first game was that Samus is a women when she turns off her main armor. And the armor is not really suppose to make it obvious Samus is a women. But hey from the trailer I would watch this and buy a badass figure.
