I've always loved this transformation, especially with this music. While there were a lot of things the DiC dub left to be desired, music was not one of them. Their soundtrack was amazing.

Re: "Where did you get this?" This version wasn't released on DVD (un)fortunately. It was only released on VHS. This version was also aired on television. This is what Pioneer referred to as the "English Edited Version".

there are subby fans that have said things like "it is the same" but that is just for DiC Sailor Moon transformations. They don't seem to realise the music for all the other senshi in the japanese versions is the same in all of the series. That is a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

I recorded it when it played on TV. I watched it many times. You probably got the edited one, or I did. Besides, since DiC did the dubbing for the movies they got it right, not "cosmic dream acton"*barf*

I guess it's because of a lot of involvement in protecting the dreams of other people while in Crisis form XD. Moon Cosmic Dream Action sounds kinda strange...

Moon Dream Action, I think that was a one off, like when DiC did Moon Star power insted of Moon crystal power. Moon Crisis is with the Holy Grail, and Moon Crisis Power is with Chibi Moon

words like 'better' and 'corny' are subjective, and really only thrown around for not liking a newer version because they favor the 'classic' better. Most english speakers perfer the english music and voices, whilst most japanese speakers ferfer the japanese music and voices.

This happened because Cloverway screwed up with the music. They did a great job on the series but they really screwed up the movies.

Serena is Rini's mother, Rini came from the future to train as a Sailor soldier, and to get the Silver Crystal from Serena at first.

The, uh, dub of the English comically changed the line to "Dream Action." Even as a kid I found it corny. The original phrase was "Crisis Power." Of the many things I prefer over the dub, Dream Action is NOT one of them.

The DiC music does NOT fit the transformation sequence. It was not orginally made for cosmic and crisis power. The sailor moon transformation theme was ok but the rest of the music sucks, it sounds too cheap.

I grew up on the english dub but after watching the entire series in Japanese, the english dub voices really hurt my ears.
