Here is a look inside my 2017 ram promaster van. The walls and shelving or all made out of three-quarter plywood.

This kind of organization speaks volumes to customers too. If your van looks this good, I can only imagine what your work looks like. Awesome man 👍

Damn dude! Very impressive. Lots of thought and layout went into that van. You treat your van like it's one of your tools...because it is. Unless your a tradesman, nobody understands the importance of a clean, well organized van or truck. Excellent job.

Personally I believe being organized is just as important as being a skilled craftsman. It’s well worth the time and effort to organize your tools and hardware so you know where everything is rather than constantly spending 5 minutes digging through drawers or a tool box looking for something. It also shows the customer you have your shit together and take pride in what your doing

Man, your video has me rethinking my entire layout. I have just as many tools as you have, all Festool and Milwaukee, but my layout sucks. My (very small) fleet consists of 4 Chevy Express vans, 1 Ford e350 and my daily driver, the Nissan NV 3500. I swear, you layout is insanely nice and highly functional. I'm taking off this weekend and redoing the entire thing! Thanks so much for sharing.

Excellent utilization of space, I find that doing a job takes a lot less time when you're organized and work in a clean and safe environment. I particularly like the table and miter saw set up with the work counter/desk above, Well Done.

I've been working towards an adaptation of your design in my Transit 250 and have my bulkhead done, four uprights built and the pattern for my festool box shelves just finished today. I am so excited to be able to get it organized. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your machine with us!

Hey Zack. I have the same van but I added LED lights to the ceiling. LEDs draw so little so I can leave them on overnight and the battery is fine. When I bought my van, it was already outfitted with shelving from the dealer. I cannot imagine not having step in use of my side door though. I added some running board steps to make getting in easier because my knees are shot (but I am older than you). Very nice setup!

Awesome man !... I spent my career primarily as a service plumber, I'm also more than impressed with the possibilities of having those compartments filled with ballcocks, flappers, flush valves, tank to bowl kits, and a large variety of faucet stems, with a small table vise. Just an awesome van !!

I'm strongly considering the RAM ProMaster to replace my 2006 Ford E250. I've been looking at van storage manufacturer's websites for days, finding that no one manufacturer does things the way I'd like. You've got a great setup there and have inspired me to consider doing custom shelving too. Thanks very much for posting this.

Excellent setup. I have been devoted to modular toolkits long before systainers and their emulators came to America. Regarding strict adherence to a modular approach, if I had investment in two slightly differently dimensioned systems as you do, I would have been tempted to make ALL the case openings at the same larger width (wide enough for Milwaukee), losing a little bit of total volume, but preserving 100% flexibility for future --- e.g., if I later replaced some of the Festool gear with Milwaukee equivalents. But your setup clearly accommodates your current tool inventory as compactly as possible, so I see that my fixation on total modular flexibility may represent more of a mental illness than a practical improvement. Your overall utilization of real estate close to the doors is particularly intelligent. Thanks for posting. Much food for thought.

Certainly well organized, all universal shelving except for Milwaukee units is nice. I have been trying to decide between the Ram van and Ford's Transit? I have a 12' dual axel trailer that can be loaded up with most material. I'm sure you've moved the clamps so they don't bang the head by now. Good ideas, thanks!

@CHIntegrationTeam6 жыл бұрын
That van is sick👍🏽👍🏽 maybe do a little closer breakdown on your storage shelves, they looked to be made of ply? What about all that Milwaukee boxes just parts and pieces? And did I see that your miter saw stored on it side then just leveled out to stand on its own with its legs(awesome by the way)maybe show that a bit more. I’m always trying to make van cleaner and more organized and man you are on the next level for sure.

Should move that fire extinguisher closer to the rear or side door for ease of access. Imagine having an engine Bay fire and now you not only have to run to the back of your van, but you have to crawl into the darn thing while it's burning lol. Other than that, nice setup!

Amazingly clean and effective concept. "I doff my cap to you sir". One question though:"How much did you spend on containers? Those Festool containers cost quite a bit (as all things Festool) and you've got a BUNCH! I'd love this set up but don't think my boss would want to invest that much. :-/
