The 3 service vehicles we had in our fleet had an emergency kit to get it self out. Jumper cables, tow strap, fuses, tire plug kit, a gallon of water, 5 ton jack, extra lug nuts and assorted fasteners. Never trusted paid car services, the wait time is lost.revenue. Being in AZ Southern Cali base I kept the AC system in check. Emissions system is a major cause of the check engine light to come on. So it's nice to take care of it right away. A OB2 reader in glove box is a handy thing to have in the truck.

"The list goes on and on." As a former general contractor and someone intimately familiar with all building trades, I am of the opinion that electricians have the most parts and tools to keep track of. There's no way carpenters and plumbers, even HVAC guys can compare to the sheer volume of small and large parts and devices needed to arrive well equipped to a jobsite. Your video perfectly illustrates this fact. No shade on woodworkers or any other trade; just fact.

Speaking From Experience on the safety panel behind the front seats. Jan 2009 was rear-ended by a guy doing 60+ in a 35 as I was slowedto about 5 mph. My 89 Chevy panel van, W/out safety panel, loaded with my tools Rolled 2½ times. The front windshield had tool's sticking out of it. They picked up tool's scattered over 300 foot area. Thanks for the walk around on your company. So much to learn.

I am a licensed master electrician for the past 51 yrs !! FORGET THOSE 1/4 LEAD ANCHORS ARE A PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!! I HAVE AN EASILER WAY AND CHEAPER. BUY HILTI, FASTENAL SLEEVE ANCHORS . A 1/4" SLEEVE ANCHOR WILL HOLD ABOUT 1200 POUNDS. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DRILL 1/4" HOLE AND USE A 1/4" ANCHOR, TAP IN THE ANCHORS WITH A 3/8" NUT DRIVER AND TIGHTEN DOWN THE ACORN NUT!!!!! THINK HOW LONG IT TAKES TO DRILL THE HOLE, MOUNT YOU OBJECT, DRIVE IN THE ANCHOR WITH NUT DRIVER AND LINEMANS PLIERS (KLEIN) AND TIGHTEN DOWN IN LESS THAN 3 TO 5 MINUTES!!!! DONE THAT, BEEN THERE SEVERAL THOUSANDS OF TIMES!!!

Wow, as I’m taking over my (unorganized) dad’s mostly residential electrical business, I’ve been searching for an inventory example and layout for organizing a van. This is a great help!! Would love a more in-depth look in the van and/or what you stock in your warehouse and how you have it organized if possible. Thank you very much from Delaware!

My Dude. I'm 45, I fell in with an Electrician 4 years ago. EVERYTHING clicked from the first day. I love Everyday, even the days I'm crawling under a house or crawling through an attic. There is not much that is more satisfying than flipping that switch for the circuit YOU just ran all nice and straight with on kinks or twists.. Attitude is a BIG factor, "Can Do" is my moto (even if spiders are a factor) Go for it.

Nice service van template, something you really have to look out for is how the Upfitter attaches your shelving, cannot tell you how many vans came from the dealer where the shelves came loose within weeks, attached with no 14 screws, or screws hitting wiring, harness, or brake lines, make sure your shelves are nut and bolted in place.

I was looking at going the used suburban route but ended up with a full size escalade for the same costs. I have to have a 4 wheel drive and considering building a drawer system for it. Can't find anything for sale that isn't well over book, high miles and needs work unless you are well north of the 30k price range. Also I have been judged by customers, perspective employers and quite honestly at least formed an opinion on people working for me based on the type and neatness of what they are driving.
