Fantastic Luke, one of my all time favourite SNES games. Next, you’ll find the elusive ‘play as bosses’ cheat for the original SFII on the SNES that we all longed for 35 years ago!

I found something similar whilst playing Doom on my sega 32x. Plugging in another joyoad replenished your ammo, or added weapons with certain button presses.
@lukemorse18 ай бұрын
Holy! wow! that is pretty awesome! I never knew about that one either. Thanks for the tip! Might have to try that one out here soon, thanks Mark!
@Mark-pr7ug8 ай бұрын
@lukemorse1 you're welcome. Just bare in mind that it wasn't another sega gamepad. I tried that out and nothing happened. It was an unofficial gamepad with auto fire options. Just wish I could remember the make of it. I only stumbled across the cheat mode by accident when moving the second pad out of my way and catching one of the buttons. My weapon changed! Pressing the other 5/6 buttons increased health, ammo, keys etc.

The US SNES is so ugly it's beautiful. I had imported US games back in the days, I loved them because it was games not yet released in Europe like Zelda 3 and Street Fighter II, still among my favorite SNES games as of today. And I love the curved and purple X and Y buttons on the US controller, neither SFC and PAL Snes had these.
@lukemorse18 ай бұрын
Haha, yeah, it was the only one we were given back in the day. Its interesting how the Pal region and Japanese versions were so similar. There were some good games like Secret of Mana 3 released in Japan and ton of awesome games from the UK we never saw in the US. The buttons on the controllers were good though lol.

It is cool but it's not newly discovered. I'm old. (48) My friend Sam used to activate this 2 player mode on his super nintendo. About 1998 maybe.
