A couple of comments: It is obvious based on the totallity of the situation it is the 4 racist dudes who should be held responsible for whatever confrontation happened. If you are going to be totally honest though the Native american group DID position themselves between the kids and the racists when things heated up. Native american should have at least tried to step to the side to get around the kid but the kid also should have assessed the situation better and stepped asside. Actually in the footage you showed the native guy was standing exactly halfway between both groups. I wouldn't say he approached one group in particular. Later you can see him surrounded but if you look at reference points (like the building) you can estimate that his position didn't change. So they did surround him. I don't think he's to blame. He saw two groups almost getting in a fight. From his pont of view the larger and way younger group seemed more threatening, withoung knowing what any one of them said. He wasn't violent, he just stand there drumming. And I can't believe I wasted my time watching a group of stupid kids arguing with a group of fanatic religious idiots until some weird drummer walks in. There are really more important issues xD And btw all your media sucks.

I could say so much but nah. People's perspectives are shaped through their life experience. The kids could have walked away from the protestors instead of engaging with them. IDK if Nathan was trying to lower tensions by going in between but a large crowd of people like that could have easily caused a riot.

I don't consider that protesting. It was just a dude spitting vitriol. What was his cause he was pushing for? What was the message other than I'm right and you're wrong? It didn't make sense therefore doesn't warrant my attention. So, I'm glad Nathan stepped in. I don't see it as him taking sides but rather trying to diffuse a tense situation.
