I vaguely remember this match, was disappointed to see India lose. M Greatbatch was a very dangerous player when playing in NZ. Manjerekar was lost, very less team bounding is evident, no major celebration after the fall of a wicket. Great legends of Indian Cricket team playing together, Sachin, Kapil(ever-dependable, my fav), Srikant, Srinath, and wristy and classy Azar. Wonder why they dropped Ravi, could have replaced SM.

Yep, if rumors are to be believed he was the first choice to be selected for Indian team as opposed to Azharuddin who also had a very good domestic season like him.
