Nemesis does become a big, quadrupedal monster in classic RE3, but not until the very end (basically in place of where he becomes a slug here) . Not only is he bipedal for most of classic RE3, but he's also around a lot more in general. RE3make was a fun game, especially on the first run, but they sadly cut a ton of content, much like RE2make did. Sounds like you more or less had a similar experience playing over all, but the video was a lot of fun as always!

RE2 REMAKE was at least a lot better than RE3 REMAKE. I never played the originals but I have seen gameplay and I can honestly say in REMAKE terms, RE2 did alot better than RE3. RE3 REMAKE felt like a dlc rather than a game because it was rushed unlike RE2 REMAKE. Also I like old nemisis because he doesn't look like a fleshy xenomorph with a trash bag dress lol

24:35 To answer your question (sorry if someone already did in the comments), yes, Nemesis turned into a "big a** monster" in the original game. But much, MUCH later. First he gets a bazooka (no flamethrower), then he gets shirtless and tentacles were coming out of his body, and it was only at the end of the game that he devolved into the big slug monster. The mutation is really fast in this version.

The only thing that really disappointed me was how they made Nemesis seem much more threatening in the demo with unscripted encounters. I was excited to see him actively search for me like Mr X, but we didn’t get any of that. Yes, in the original game his encounters were scripted, but if you didn’t take him down he would stalk you in later areas. Would’ve been cool to see them build upon that, but I still enjoyed the game. It was not worth the full $60 at all though with the short length and cut content. At the very least, a remake should include about everything that the original had regarding the areas. I think this separate team needed another year with this game.

I think this is my favorite incarnation of Nemesis from an artistic perspective. Before, in almost every game (if not all of them) he was always drawn to be smooth. Nice, shaped head with finely defined lack of lips exposing his gums. Here his head looks like a fleshy MESS and I LOVE it. A messy head, but a solid, bulky build. This is definitely my favorite version of Nemesis.

Quality not quantity, I've played both REmake2 and REmake3 multiple times, and if this had been out before REmake2, People would have complaints about the other game for being too different from this R3make. With REmake2 the A-B scenario are too similar, and Mr X is simply a nuissance untill the last boss fight. Both are great games, and I just hope RE8 will take it to the next level!

Say what you will about 2, the scenarios were still different enough due to weapon variety and such to warrant a second playthrough. Had this game been released for around 30 bucks as say, a DLC or something, I doubt anyone would've complained, but for a full priced title with a tacked on multiplayer that will probably be dead within a month, it seems extremely underwhelming.

@@firstlast-ey4ly My point was'nt that people would'nt complain in general, just that they would complain about different things if the game releases were in reverse. I've seen a lot of complaints about every top game ever, and I too have my pov regarding what I feel certain games lack or have... Even Zelda Breath of the wild, was'nt a 100% perfect game. Almost there, but no, it was'nt perfect! When it comes to the A-B scenarios in REmake2, yeah, different weapons, but same locations and basically 85-90% of the gameplay is similar. I've played it and finished it about 10 times in total, both A-B scenarios, if you have a different version of the game I would love to play that too! What would a longer R3MAKE consist of? More puzzlez? Slightly different ammo-guzzling enemy varietys? If it was quality content of course I wish it was twice as long! But most RE games tend to be too repetetive and annoying. Resident Evil games in general aren't that complex or contain mindblowing knowledge... It's collect this key item or kill this and that enemy to advance to the next section or to get a special weapon etc. I live in Norway, everything here is overpriced, but we make a lot of Money too, so it evens out... I wish it was 30$, what I payed for it is equivalent to 80$ us. And yet, I dont feel it's a waste of Money. At my first playthrough i felt Nemesis was too easy, but that perception changed when I played it on hardcore... Daaaaamn!

Had they remade 3 first, people again, would've still been pissed about the price tag, while 2's story and campaigns feel more robust, giving you more money for what its worth. While you were satisfied, many others expected more, which is understandable, as to me a remake should have everything from the original game at the minimum.

@@firstlast-ey4ly Trust me, if the REmake3 came first the price wouldnt be a factor, people would bee too extatic to even care... But now that they have something to compare it with, it's this issue and that issue blabla. Im not breathtakingly amazing at these two games, but I manage to finish REmake2, both campaigns, no deaths, in about 5-6 hours, and im just about under 2h on REmake3. Both games are on the top list of my all time fav games, that list consists of Zelda OoFT, Zelda BOTW, football manager 2008, inFamous: Second Son, RE4, REmake2, REmake3, Starcraft, The Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2! Aside from inFamous and The Odyssey, REmake2 + REmake3, I've spent more than several 100's of hours on most of the games, and probably 1000's on football manager 2008.

If you pay attention, you'll notice that nemesis shows up every time jill uses the radio. It's a nice detail.

She also doesn't change clothes the entire game, I think the most popular reason as to why nemesis always finds her is she had a tracker on her. I've seen people say the stars badge has a tracker in and it would make sense.
