god, this is a review i regularly come back to as an example of a compact review done right. All i can say in hindsight is that price concerns about this being more expensive than the regular GL are comedic now that the regular version constantly gets $120+ on the aftermarket and this falls like 30 bucks short of that benchmark constantly.

No, it's basically a stand-in for the Granzeboma because the Gurren Lagann final battle in Z2 Saisei Hen is scaled down A LOT to avoid it from being horribly unbalanced (play Z2 Saisei, it's one stomp-fest of a game). It took another two years and nerfing of pretty much everyone for the real final battle of Gurren Lagann to play out properly in Z3.
