What if Maneuver Blade from "Viper's Creed" was in Super Robot Wars? An ability showcase.
Viper's Creed is a 12 episode Real Robot anime featuring mild cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic elements. The story is set in a world recovering from a recent global war and increasingly isolated cities, in a city where foreign private military companies serve as the primary defense against Bugmechs, automated weapons left over from the war. While their nominal role is security, the companies are most directly motivated by profit, and offer financial incentives for specific completed missions.
The series follows the Viper unit, the most elite and most profitable unit of Arqon Security. It depicts both the lives of the members of the Viper, as well as their conflicts against citizens opposed to foreign intervention.

Kinda interesting - even from just the City background plate in the first shot, I could tell this was the same studio that did Ghost In the Shell : SAC & 2nd Gig. They've got a very distinct "near-future" aesthetic - it shows in their Architecture design, Lighting, Characters, Cyborg Implants, Technical design, and Uniforms.
