+omnimon2230 That was the moment the internet (Or at least the Otaku-run part of it) collective nuked itself, because, who the hell does everyone think he is? Okay, in all seriousness, the whole Metaseries tends to be a bit loopy with the mortality of player characters, not just in gameplay (Permadeath doesn't exist through repairs) but also from a story standpoint. Oftentimes you can rescue a character who'd been seen as tempting fate by achieving certain conditions in the stage they were to be killed off, mostly to give the protagonist of respective series some added strength of character. (Like protecting said character until the end of the stage) For Example, in Alpha 3, Kamille's squad is composed of Fa Yuiry, Roux Louka and Four Murasame, that last one you might recognize because she was killed by Kamille when he fought her and blew up her Psyco Gundam in Shanghai. However in the previous games, the actions of the Alpha Numbers (The hero faction) caused a butterfly effect which resulted in her surviving the fight and thus, joined the Numbers. This was also the case with Guld in Alpha 3, where he stayed with Isamu to destroy Sharon Apple's Macross instead of suicidally chasing down one of her stray drones, kamikazes it, but only delaying the inevitable. This sort of butterfly effect's very common in the metaseries, but the Z series doesn't follow that rain of thought much. This is particularly shown with the Kamina's death, which forced Simon to really man up like in Gurren Lagann, and Neil Dylandy's (Lockon Stratos 1) death near the end, when he tried to protect ZEXIS (Also a hero group) from Ali Al-Saachez, who thought it'd be nice to not only be a terrorist, but a genocidal yahoo too. You can approach this situation with the former in three ways: 1: He managed to survive his death and the SRW butterfly effect's working its magic. 2: He was resurrected like in the show. 3: It's just his spirit telling everyone who's boss, because by this point in the game, the Gurren Lagann has basically become God fueled by Wildfire. Make of them, whatever you will.

+lucariotime890 Well, that's because Mobile Suit Gundam has appeared in all the Super Robot Wars games, and I mean ALL of them, even moreso than the Mazinger Z and Getter Robo, who are even bigger figureheads of the term 'Giant Robot', which pretty much has convinced me that the Original Generation of SRW wanted it's own Gundams via the Gespenst and Huckebein.
