@jamesstevenson327910 ай бұрын
His inconsistencies come from the copious amount of injuries he's had. When he gets 5/6 games under his belt he's the best 10 in wales by a mile. Problem is getting that run of games before he gets injured again. We must be doing something wrong with s&c in wales because whenever a player leaves us to go abroad they don't get anywhere near the injuries they get here
@thecuttingsark509410 ай бұрын
@@jamesstevenson3279 Our schedule in the NH is counter productive. We need to move the 6 Nations to the summer/autumn. Compress and shorten the domestic seasons. Stop having long drawn out playing seasons and have decent recovery time in between. An England player, for example, will have done RWC, Prem part 1, Euro Cup part1, 6N, Prem part 2, Euro cup part 2, summer international tour NZ, Autumn internationals and then straight back into next years Prem part 1. It’s disjointed and relentless. . Meanwhile, SA who also play in European domestic comps rest/rotate their Boks during the domestic season and don’t have international games. NZ have a MUCH shorter domestic season but still manage to play almost as many games, but have managed to have a decent winter rest period followed by pre season training. NZ also fold back non internationals into a second domestic comp (the NPC) where bench players can get good game time and the next level of player gets a chance to shine. NZ protect their players and game, in the NH we protect our financial margin.
